So me and DH are going grocery shopping closer to 2. Everyone is asleep, the stores are empty. I usually wear yoga pants and a sweatshirt, because I am classy like that.
When do you shop, and what do you wear?

Nope. People don't usually look at me anyway. They're too focused on my baby who is fussing and throwing things out of the cart.

I don't usually dress up, but I don't like to leave the house in sweats (even yoga pants). Jeans and a t-shirt, sure.

I never dress up to grocery shop.
Sometimes I look really frightening (unwashed hair pulled up, no make up, sweat shorts/pants and a holey tshirt). Haha. -.-

Not at all. I'm disgusting, I went grocery shopping in the actual clothes I slept in! Also, ran to TJMaxx and tried on heels with my sweatpants. Not my proudest moment. I don't get lots of free time.

@CATWOMAN: When I am not in my scrubs I am usually in sweats.... grocery shopping happens to happen when I am not working and I can't bother to change lol.
I am a mess right now and I don't even have kids yet

If I'm going first thing in the morning then yes, because then I look presentable for the rest of the day. In the afternoon, just casual but never sweats.

I'm totally 'that person' but pre-baby I would make sure and look 'nice' before I left the house. Now as long as I'm clean and my teeth are brushed I call that acceptable.

I try to look nice or presentable any time I leave the house (unless I'm going to the gym). It is often just jeans and a decent top, but I always shower and add some mascara at least. I just feel so much more motivated during the day when I "get ready".

@anonysquire: Oh yeah, I look pretty horrendous! Today was especially awful: no makeup, hair up in a pony tail, eyebrows that need to be waxed so badly... at least my baby looked cute!

Um no I roll out of bed and straight to the grocery store...I don't get "ready" for the day until I shower...which I don't do until after cleaning the house so.....yeah I look FAB ...I wont even wear my contacts and I sit there and squint at prices it's sexy

Most people where I live dress up to do anything, so I used to try to make an effort...now I don't bother, we're moving and I could really care less if people judge me for wearing yoga pants and sneakers.

Heck no! I went yesterday in leggings, a baggy t-shirt and sweatshirt. At least I penciled in my eyebrows, haha!

I'm all about rocking the glasses, pony tail, no make-up, sweat pants and t-shirt look. I do hope that I don't run into students -- but considering they're all usually running the cash register, it's kind of a futile wish. Whatever, I dress up Monday - Friday, so they know I can at least apply make-up.

I look like a hot mess when I go to the store. Usually I'm wearing a nursing cami so my tig ol bitties are all over the place, and a maternity skirt/shorts that are too loose. LOL.

I can't do it. I can't even answer the door if I don't have my makeup on. My casual is jeans and depending on the weather a t-shirt, sweatshirt, sweater... I don't know why but I can't leave the house without makeup, it's a problem.

I went to the store yesterday with a (short) nightgown on with a fleece over it and yoga pants on under it. That was a new low for me.. DH was like "what... is going on with your outfit?" In my defense when I wear that nightgown around family, people think it's a short cotton dress!
