I've noticed over the last couple years I've stopped automatically leaving a store/shopping center/restaurant from the nearest exit & often opt to take the long way to a traffic light (if there is one).

I thought initially having kids did this BUT I used to gun it across traffic with G all the time (I lived in a very aggressive driving city). Now it's a rarity I chose to cut across unless I have no other option!

What about you? Find the "out of the way" light or cut across traffic?
