Never tried goat meat before. If I had the chance I would try it.

I like goat meat, I find it similar to lamb but with a stronger, gamier flavor and a bit stringier texture. But I only tend to eat it in various types of curries, so I can't say how it would work for a little one who might not eat all those spices.

Yup. Curry goat is a pretty popular dish in the Caribbean. I like it better than beef. It's not as gamey as lamb and can be softer than beef when cooked well.

I've eaten it a few times. It was pretty heavily spiced (in tacos and in a Moroccan stew) so it didn't seem to have a distinctive taste. We ate both goat dishes at a farm to table fundraiser at the Spence Farm Foundation, so the goats were raised right there and cooked by "celebrity" chefs.

In its defense, I've never tried it, but...not gonna lie, I don't think I will...

I have also had goat and enjoyed it. Both in a jamacian style curry and a slow-cooked BBQ goat. It's not something we cook for ourselves at home but DH and I will both order it on occasion if we are out and it sounds good.
