I like it when it's crispy on rotisserie chickesns, El Pollo Loco or Popeye's. But when it's really fatty I avoid it. Crispy skin is so good!
Do you eat it?

Guilty. But only when it's crispy. DH thinks its gross, but its not any different then pork rinds.

skin! i like it fried (with batter) or crispy (roasted). i think the only time i take off the skin is with chinese cold chicken. the skin just doesn't bite into pieces easily and kinda feels like raw skin.

No, not at all... when I was little my mom told me my stomach would explode if I ate it (dramatic much, mom??) - I believed her, and I grew up never eating it and I don't now - not even on fried chicken!

Oh, the crispy skin is the best part! Especially when it's just melt in your mouth, yum! Hm, is it bad to be wanting fried chicken at 6:30am? lol

Love it. I know it's not good for you.... but it's so yum!

No, it totally grosses me out. I peel it off and give it to DH typically. The only time I eat it is when it's on chicken wings and it's just kinda there/crispy. But on breasts? i peel it off.

I honestly didn't know for most of my life that people ate it. The way it comes off easily, I just figured that meant you weren't supposed to eat it. Doesn't make sense, I know, but it just never occurred to me.

I don't eat chicken but my husband likes chicken skin. 9 times out of 10 I just make boneless, skinless breasts but he loves a whole chicken so when I make that he eats the skin. Since I don't eat it, he puts the whole bird in front of him and goes nuts. He calls it 'caveman style' lol.

I love chicken skin no matter how it's cooked! Love it crispy fried, love it mushy off steamed chicken.

Depends on how its cooked.. if its soggy then no, but if its crispy and well seasoned then yes

If it's crispy, sure! Hubby eats it no matter what. I think non-crispy skin is too "fatty" for me. Ironic right since crispy skin can include fried chicken and we all know that's even fattier - ha!

Very rarely--and if I do, like everyone else, it's gotta be super crispy. I haaaate when it's all soft and flappy...blech.

@ms.janedoe: Just thinking about soft and flappy makes me want to throw up!
