I used to go to tons of classical music concerts when I was a kid... no longer.
I'd be interested in going to some chamber music events, or to a jazz show. Maybe when the kids are a bit older, we can all go as a family?
Do you ever attend opera, classical music or jazz concerts? Do you have plans to go with your kids?

I used to go to lots of classical concerts. I plan to take LO to the tiny tots series that the Seattle Symphony does when she is at an appropriate age.

I used to play violin in lots of youth orchestras, so had to attend the concerts by default... does that count? A few years ago when DH surprised me tickets to the symphony, we were both rather bored, haha.

Yes! All the time! I definitely appreciated them more as an adult, but I go to way more classical/jazz concerts than anything else. Chicago Symphony Orchestra, outdoor jazz fests, Dave Brubeck RIP :'(

Love the opera, and I used to go to classical music concerts because I was in band so my mom would take me. I don't get to go much now because of LO.......

Yep, i had a subscription to our city's orchestra concerts before LO was born. I plan on taking her once she is old enough.

All of the above. My mom thought it was really important to take us to cultural events growing up. I minored in music in college so I got to see/work some amazing productions while studying too.
My kids love music already, so we'll be taking them as soon as is feasible. Meanwhile, we're taking them to as many community and church music events as we can.

All the time! DH is currently getting his PhD at a pretty prestigious music school and is a composer of classical music. There are concerts of some sort (orchestra, chamber music ensembles, student recitals) around us nearly every night! Our future LO's will be raised around music for sure.. it's a big part of our life!

Yup! I had season tickets to the opera for a couple of years. This year we traded them in for season tickets to the theatre instead.

I have as a kid. I have no interest in attending now because I fall asleep at events!
