I have SIL/BIL watch a LO occasionally but I have never watched my niece. My SIL has an aunt living with her and her mom is usually available!

Nope! And I don't really want to, haha. But we've also never asked SIL or my brother to watch Xander.

Yes! I love it too! We have a niece who's 8, and 3 nephews, 5, 3, and 2 months all from DH's sister. We looove going over to babysit, that way they can go on a much needed date night!

I would love to, but no My SIL lives with my ILs, so they always watch my niece. Plus they live over an hour away, so it's not like I could just pop over last minute to watch her.

We would have our niece and 2 nephews over for at least a week every summer and sometimes over Christmas break. But, this was mainly before we had kids. Now the kids are too busy to come stay with us. Maybe we're not cool anymore?

My nieces are 11 and 13, so sometimes they come over and babysit for me while I shower or get things done. They don't love to be home alone when my sister works so it's a win win!

I've watched my nieces a few times. I think I've kept my nephew once or twice. No one other than my mom, dad or DH have kept LO yet though. My parents or DH are usually immediately available so there's never been any need.
ETA: I know my SIL would LOVE to watch LO. It's just never come up.

Just once. They live an 8 hour drive away. I stayed for a weekend with D to watch my niece when she was about 2 while they went to a conference. But, I haven't since.

Once in a while. Usually if we're visiting them for a few hours while his parents are at work, or when his dad has a holiday party in our part of town. Otherwise, nope!

Yup!!! DH's nieces live in GA and they are 7 and 5. They've only been here twice in the last year and we've babysat them more than BIL has babysat our kids. Sad.
My niece and nephews (11, 11 & 6) live 6-7 hours away and we've had them come visit for a week at a time without their parents.
We love spending time with them!! Although to be completely honest we can only take DH older niece in small doses .

No... This sounds terrible, but I don't like baby sitting, haha. SIL's kids are 3 (niece) and 6 (nephew). I suck at playing with kids...

I only have one actual nephew, and SIL/BIL have never asked us to babysit him - I've offered a few times but he's a handful and honestly I think she is nervous that he would break something or hurt my child. MIL is his primary babysitter and he has a tendency to throw things, hit/kick her, call her names...so yeah, I'm not heartbroken that she's never taken me up on my offer.
A couple of my cousins I'm very close to have kids who I pretty much consider to be my nephews, and I have babysat them before.

I have never babysit my niece or nephew, actually. I'm not sure I would know what to do with them...they are 5 and 7.

We don't live near each other but yes I have a few times during visits. Last time I was in charge of my 2 and my sister's 3 boys while my sister went to the airport to pick up her DH. We will more often take just one or two so that at least someone gets one on one attention. She hasn't baby sat for me much but did once for like 20 minutes. We usually visit at my mom's house which is the opposite if baby proof so she really helps me a ton when she does visit so kind of like babysitting but I'm there too.

On my side yes all the time, never have watched DH's brothers kids.

No, they don't live close to us so any time we see them, we're hanging out with them and their parents.
My SIL did say we should take them for a sleepover the last time they were here, but we didn't. Babysitting isn't really our thing.
