I went to the dollar store yesterday and found some good things! I got a board book for LO, that wasn't cheap looking at all, some clear storage totes, sticker books and a 3 pack of really nice socks!
Do you ever buy anything from the dollar store?

OMG. I'm an elementary teacher so I pretty much LIVE at the dollar store.
You know you're there a lot when the cashier says "Oh, hi! You again!"

I love the dollar store. I was so sad to find out they don't have them here! I like the disposable diaper bags they have. My mom sent us a ton for Christmas. We keep them in the diaper bag.

I bought quite a few pregnancy tests there!
Otherwise only things like wrapping paper or gift bags usually. The ones near my work are kind of gross, but I've been to better ones that don't have that nasty cheapo smell.

Just depends. I usually never go there because we only have one and its far...but if I go, I always just grab stuff I didn't intend on buying. -

I took DH there for the first time last week and his head just about exploded. He wanted to buy everything!

All the time.. mainly cotton wool because we use that on A instead of wipes then lots of household stuff.

Always, I love that place! You can't beat the price of their 50 cent cards, especially when you know the receiver just tosses cards anyway.

Gift bags, random kitchen stuff (they have the best little cutting boards that DH and I love!), kitchen rags, sprayer bottles, index cards, a receipt book for our babysitter/daycare lady.... I'm not there often, but every once in a while it's like a little gold mine!

Seriously, the dollar store is such a terrible place. They have so much cheap junk that I just love. Sidewalk chalk, pregnancy tests, glow in the dark bracelets. Bubble wands. I'm really opposed, in theory, to the fact that they sell junky food for so cheap. But then I discovered this bake at home french baguette they sell, and then I was totally shut up.

All the time. There are so many things that are great deals there. Gift bags, wrapping paper, greeting cards, sponges, j cloths, chalk, pens and notebooks, ectectect
