I saw a mom of 3 (2 in stroller) with a Britax B-Ready yesterday and it looked awesome. I want to test drive that stroller!

I've been checking out strollers since before TTC
It's nice to see people doing the things you will be doing, like, moms walking around the city, in my case, and see what they chose.

I totally do... Since we handed down most items from DD to DS, I know my stuff is not the most up to date. I like seeing what newer mommies have.

I'm afraid I can do a mental inventory of gear pretty quickly! Stroller, carrier, diaper bag, etc. I can't help myself...
But it DID make me change my mind on my car-seat color after talking to a mom about her coral maxi-cosi car seat. And I love to ask opinions about baby-wearers, comfort, and baby age. -
I hate that SoCal has only one or two Buy Buy Baby's. I totally miss that store... Do you live near a Right Start? They have higher end strollers than BRU. I've noticed that it's the small mom & pop baby gear stores that have 'em too. Like Kidsland in Koreatown... Omg, they have every baby item known to man. It's like Amazon Mom IRL there!
But to answer your question, yeah I check out baby gear all the time! Strollers, diaper bags, sippy cups... You name it!

I'm a total gear snooper. And FWIW, we have the B-ready and it's totally awesome!!!! I tried it and the UBV, and it won hands down over the UBV for me!

I agree with strollers diaper bags and carriers. We have an ready and love it. Can't wait to add a second seat!

I'm TTC with bad baby fever so I usually notice the pricey baby strollers when I'm out and about.

Yes, I have a wandering eye for baby gear. I have found quite a few things while shopping at Ikea incidentally...
*I decided on our family car from seeing a similar one in the parking lot.
*Decided on the Jeep stroller from seeing someone using one at the checkout.
*And decided on the Ergo from talking to another mom in the kids section. -
