I have been waking up early lately (not sure why) so I try and use that time to catch up on dishes and cleaning. It's surprisingly enjoyable doing stuff when everyone is still asleep... especially since I realized I can listen to the radio or iPad while cleaning!
Do you ever clean in the morning?

DH does! Usually he'll clean up the kitchen from the night before while I sleep

Nope not usually. I work from home though, and sometimes my boss would call me first thing in the morning so I'd use that time to wipe down counters and such while he blabbed on the other end

Go you Mr. Bee! I have in the past but it's certainly been awhile. Sleep is precious these days so I squeeze out every last second I can. lol It does have this overly satisfying & almost relaxing feeling with being able to get something done before everyone is around though, almost like you're "ahead" for the day!

I used to, yes. I'd do dishes, empty the dishwasher, move the clothes from the washer to the dryer (I'd program the washer to begin one hour before I would wake up so the clothes were freshly washed).
Now, I just don't have the time and I can not get up any earlier than I already do!

I do. I did some laundry this morning. On the weekends I like to get up and clean right away so I have the rest of the day for fun.

I HATE cleaning in the morning but my husband does. I'll rather stay up late cleaning than do so in the morning. Not a morning person.

Oh yes. Even before LO. I could accomplish so much in 20 minutes before getting ready for work and coming home to a clean house was wonderful! Now I clean 24/7, whenever LO isn't napping on me I love how clean my house is!

I clean all day but mostly at night because the kids wake up around 5am.

If I have trouble sleeping, I go downstairs and clean to past the time. I might as well be useful instead of just laying in bed with nothing to do. I feel productive but so sleepy from the lack of sleep once I go back to sleep and have to wake up for the day.

Nothing major, I'll make the bed and sometimes wash up some dishes from the night before and wipe down the counters. I'll straighten up clutter. We did a big clean this morning though because our apartment is being shown today. It'll be nice to come home to a clean house tonight!!

I'm not very motivated in the mornings. I prefer to stay up a little later and get things done then. When I wake up early, it's really hard for me to drag my sorry rear end out of bed and do anything.

Yes- LO wakes up and just wants to chill so I put him in his swing and I clean. By the time he gets fussy-I'm done!

Heck no. I may be waking up much earlier these days, but I'm still getting up at the last possible moment I have to while still getting out the door in time

I try to get as much cleaning done in the morning as I can, I'd rather have it all done so I can enjoy the day vs. cleaning all day long.

My DH actually doesn't go to bed at night until the entire house is organized and we clean religiously every Sunday so there isn't much for me to clean in the mornings. If I wake up before DH (which never happens on work days) then I usually sit in the living room on the computer or watch TV until he wakes up. I would empty the dishwasher or take out the trash, but we live in a small apartment so it would wake him up.

I never do, but my husband does the dishes in the morning all the time. He did a bunch this morning, in fact!
