Yes, but like you said, something like going out to dinner and having a glass of wine, maybe two and then driving home.

Yup, I'll drive home after having 1-2 drinks with dinner. It's never happened, but I could call a cab if I really could not drive.

I try to keep it to two drinks toward the beginning and pair it with food..

This family I used to nanny for would hire a limo for events and weddings so they could drink all they want! It was so funny cause they'd come home totally tipsy lol

I'll have 1 or at most 2 over the span of an evening, and then drink water, and drive home.

If I was driving I would have one drink max. I'm a lightweight :).

Same as above, if I'm the DD, I will guage how long we will be out, weather I'm having a meal and will have a drink or two based on that. Never more than 1 drink/hour and never more than 2 drink if I'm driving.

I don't consider a glass of wine or a beer with dinner drinking and driving. I would and have done this before.

However, I am against having too much to drink and then driving home.

I went to a halloween party this year where a couple got totally wasted and were going to drive home, the host and her husband argued and argued with this couple to just stay at their house or even let them call a cab but they left anyway. When everyone from the party woke up the next morning, one girl went to her car and it was totally smashed up because the couple who left drunk had hit it. It was totally avoidable and unnecessary! Why do people do it? I have no idea.

I'll drive home if I've had one drink at dinner, mayyyybe two if it was a long meal.

I used to have no issue driving after having one or two drinks over the course of an evening. But since having LO the most I've had is half a glass of watered down wine and even that makes me tipsy. So it will be a long time before I'm able to drive after a drink again.
