I have never taken LO to a restaurant by myself! I usually go out with DH, a friend, or a family member. Maybe I should try it this weekend?

I've never been brave enough, though I should have tried it when she was much younger and sleepier.

Once in a while we'll eat out, but it's pretty rare. It's just easier to eat at home when it's just me and her.

Yup, pretty often nowadays. It's easier now that he's older (2.5). I wouldn't DARE take him out to eat by himself when he was 1.5-2. He wouldn't sit in his high chair for more than 10 minutes back then!

Yes, I like going out to eat with him...always have! He's good company.

When I was on maternity leave, we would go for a walk to the nearby sandwich shop and I'd eat a sandwich outside at a table....but he would sleep usually. Does that count?

Yup I try to take him out pretty regularly. Usually it is just a sandwich or a coffee, but I feel like the more we do it the better he is.

Yes, DD likes to sit and eat so it's not that bad!

@autumnlove: You will have a chance to do it with baby #2 during the very sleepy newborn phase : ) He slept on all walks so we did that a lot. Or sat outside at starbucks.

Last Friday me an DS had a sushi lunch date
granted he just wanted to grab everything off the tables and was throwing his shoes on the floor(he's six months), but it was nice. Wanted to do it again today but no motivation lol

Yes! We go to the nordstroms cafe once a week. I like that they have a mothers lounge and nice changing table. Plus who doesn't love Nordstrom?

Yes. However, I was they type that would go out to eat by myself prior. So no biggie for me.

Several times a week. These days she's way less willing to sit in a restaurant, so we go to carts around town with picnic tables and such. I love to eat out!
