Because of pregnancy complications that I had with my son, we're waiting until he's like 18 months before we TTC for #2. Sometimes I wish we could TTC sooner (NOT NOW!) but I know it would be stupid for work and financial reasons.
Do you ever want to TTC before you are scheduled to?

Nah, we never have any plans to use any sort of BC, so the next one will happen when it happens. Ecological breastfeeding means it will probably be awhile though.

@kstr: thatwas our plan but then I was out on bedrest for 7 weeks in pregnancy 1 so now I've gotta wait. Boo.

Yup! LO is only 4 months, and the plan is to have the next one when she's two. But she seems to be growing so fast and has been a pretty cruisy baby so far that it's been tempting to try for another! If we were in a better financial position (eg.got our own house instead of living with in-laws) then no doubt I'd be convincing dh to start trying now!

I was dead set against the idea of TTC again until recently. Then LO started sleeping better and it's like the more rested I got, the stronger baby fever came on. I'm still happy to wait until she's at least a year, but I do find myself thinking about it more and more.

Yes! We were talking about officially trying in March but I think I'll want to start next month. Patience is not one of my virtues.

We ended up with #2 sooner than we planned, but it worked out awesomely!

Oh my word, YES! I would be pregnant right NOW if I could be. But I have a wedding to shoot in September and I really DON'T want to be hugely pregnant for that. And I don't want another winter baby, so that cuts out TTC this spring. And I can't have a spring EDD because then I would probably have to give birth alone because hubby would be so busy with spring fieldwork. We have to wait until at LEAST August and then it has to happen sometime in August, September, or October, so we have a late May/June/early July baby because I can't be having a baby during wheat harvest either! Lol. And if it doesn't happen in those 3 months, we'll just have to wait until next year to TTC again, WAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Yup! Well against my scheduled plan
DH convinced me to try for this November (putting our DD2 @ 22mos when #3 arrives) even though I originally wanted to wait till after DD2 turned 2.5 or closer to 3years.
But if this month for a Nov 2013 baby doesn't catch I want to go back to my original plan for a Nov 2014 baby. But we will see what happens...i was also fortunate not to have to many issues with my previous pregnancies. And like a pp, I have a farming DH so really don't want a LO during seeding or harvest just would make it easier on me lol.

Yes! I would like to right now but things are just off. My period is still crazy and I just started a new job. DH's job is always stressful and that won't change so I think we will wait till my period calms down and I've been at my job for a couple of months.
