That happened to me today. I'm so used to saying 30 I had to pause before answering 31.

I do! It was never a problem until I was about 22 or 23, now I always have to think about it.

This year I've consistently thought I was a year older than I am.

Yes, I usually think I'm 31 instead of 32!

Yup, I alwasy go to say "twenty--" then remember I'm 31. Every time someone talks about remembering something that happened 8 or 10 years ago, I *always* think back to 90's. I never think of the 00's as ten years ago!

I always have to think about it. My DH laughs at me about it.

Haha! YES! For YEARS I was mentally "stuck" thinking I was 27! I finally got my head around being in my 30s, but it's still hard to remember I'm 33 now! eek!

@yoursilverlining: I think of the 90s too when someone says 10 years ago... and the 80s when someone says 20 years ago!

Yes, I do have to think about how old I am. DH is two years older than me, so sometimes I think I'm two years old than I am.
