Happens to me alllll the time with the LO I nanny, especially now with a huge reno project going on in the basement all day every day. It makes me feel crazy!

Haha LO is almost 2 and we still hear phantom cries. Sometimes the dogs breathing sounds like her crying!

Yes! Mostly when she was a newborn and especially when I was in the shower. I think part of it was my pp anxiety, honestly.

Yes I yell at my husband frequently to control it and he says they are not crying! It must be our womenly instinct to hear it

Yup! Has happened many times. Even now when lo is 19 months I still think she's crying while I'm in the shower!

For the first few months, I heard her all the time. It was awful, made it so hard to sleep when I really had to. Luckily it's mostly gone now.

This happened to me constantly when L was a newborn! I would always be muting the TV because I was sure I'd heard him.

lol, this is great, i thought it's just me; i always ask my husband if he hears crying, and he gives me that "you're going crazy" look.

Oh yes! I hear her even when I'm not with her. Totally not crazy (well, if it's crazy, then we're all crazy!)
