I recall a post where @Mrs Bee mentioned that she once woke up in the middle of the night and her parents weren't home-- they had gone to the store and left the kids home alone while sleeping. That made me chuckle, but also made me wonder. There is a train stop a 15 min walk from our house (or 3 min drive) and if one of us is coming home late from work after RJ's already in bed, we're always wondering if the other should just jump in the car and pick them up, especially if it's raining, snowing, or icy. We always end up just sucking it up and walking.

I sometimes wish we lived next door to a deli or coffee shop so some nights we could step out with the baby monitor in hand and have a mini-date.

Do you ever leave your LO at home alone, even for a few minutes? (I guess I mean outside of baby monitor range!)
