When did you start? I can't wait to do this because baths can be a hassle!

I tried this at around 7 or 8 months and LO cried! I think she was scared of the noise. She's a year now, but I haven't tried again. I will soon though. I'm tired of baby baths!

DH does after he cuts LO's hair. I'm too scared so I never have.

Not showers, but we take baths together every night before bedtime. Maybe I'll try showers when she's a little older.

I've been holding her in the shower with me since 6 weeks or so. Not everytime, but when we are in a rush as it's quicker than a bath! She loves it, although now at almost 8 months, she grabs for everything off the shelf and the curtain so we may have to stop until she gets a little more self control!

I've never done this. DH will fill up the big tub, and sit in there with her for her bath (funny story- he insists on wearing shorts or a bathing suit while he is in the tub with her because he doesn't want her to see his boy parts.... she is 9 months old :S) and she seems to like that.

We always shower with DS. It's so much easier. He actually cries in the bath now, he prefers showers.

I showered with my son every day as soon as his cord fell off. He loooved them and it was easy for me. We stopped around 5-6 month because he decided he was a big boy and wanted to use the bath by himself. Sad day. I miss our showers.

From 18 months and up. I think it would be too hard to hold them while washing hair/all over.

Lo loves showering with us. We always give her a bath at night too though
She started really loving them at around 18 months old

Haha ever since he was about 3 months old! We still shower together- I will let him play at my feet for a little bit and then pick him up

I also started as soon as her stump fell off, she has never had an issue with it. I just sit her in her bath seat and wash her up in there, she loves it!

We've been putting her in the bath since she could situp stabily. I put a little warm water in the tub, sit her down, then turn on the shower. After I'm done I wash her and her hair, thdn let her play for a bit. Works fairly well for us, usually in the morning when I'm getting ready for work

Somewhere between 2-3 months I think. At first I held him, which is kind of scary... I'd look into some kind of bath apron to hold the baby next time. After a while, I started laying him on the tub floor with a towel under his head, and he was happy to splash around while I showered.

Not yet, since she is so little, but maybe when she is older.

We take showers together on vacation.... when no bath is available. LO has never been a big fan, it's always one big scream fest.

Not yet. I'm scared she'd slip right out of my arms! Maybe when she's a good walker. I'd feel more comfortable with her standing

I took him in the shower with me at 2 weeks old after his first bath because the bath was too painful for me to lean over.
He loves baths and showers.
Now we do baths when we have plenty of time and showers when we are in a rush.

Like the steps you use logistically to make it work...we have a tiny kitchen sink and no bathtub so I reeeeally want to be able to shower with LO!

2 1/2 when DD requested to shower with mommy. We tried a couple of times before (at 15 and 18m) and she was terrified so we didn't push it. DS is 4m and I don't know when we'll start showering with him, I'm always afraid I'll drop them since they get so slippery.

@tororojo: I'm curious about this, too. I look at our tiny show and can't figure out how that would happen. There's no room and she would be constantly pounded by the water if I laid her down.

@BabyBoecksMom: Same with us! I feel your pain...hopefully someone wise can help us out!

I was wondering about the logistics too. We have a standard sized shower/tub combo, but I think if I laid a LO down, they would be getting sprayed a lot. I personally would hate it, so i can't imagine a baby would like it. I think I'm missing something. I was picturing it as holding the baby, which seems slippery.

@Foodnerd81: I just think about a slippery baby falling out of my arms!
