I love sleeping with the windows open, if there's not a lot of outside/street noise. Also, there has to be a screen on the window.
If it's noisy or there are no screens, I will close every window and use a fan or a/c!

We don't have screens on our windows (and can't really put them on) but I definitely would if I could!

Yes, all the time. Though now that we have a 1-story house, I do have more fears about sleeping with them open.

Yes, it's pretty quiet at night here and the breeze feels really good. I also sleep with one earplug in and a sleeping mask. I'm such a grandma.

I almost never do anymore because DH doesn't like it but I used to love waking up to a slight morning chill and snuggling under the blankets.

Yeah we have to, no AC. We live on the ground floor so it's not so bad. We have these weird metal shutters on the outside of the window. I really miss AC. If we had to, we could use our little mobile AC we got for our old apartment, (5 floors up, it was so hot!) but you have to stick this big hose outside, so the window would still be open anyway!

My parents used to open windows when I was little to avoid using AC. I liked it. We can't open them where we live right now.

We used to all the time growing up in MI. Now that I'm in NC, the spring is too pollen-y (made that mistake once!!), and the summer is too humid & not cool enough at night. Sometimes in the fall, though.

We use the ac in the summer but have the windows open in late spring & early fall.
