This is why I want a tandem instead fo side by side! I'm already a total klutz I can't imagine trying to negotiate a double stroller too

I don't take ours in little stores for that reason! I typically wear one in an ergo and carry the other on my hip for little shops downtown and it's just easier to navigate. It keeps me from dilly dallying and spending too much money, too

@prettylizy: tandems are narrower but I've found they are still hard to navigate in tight and crowded spaces, and doorways. I actually think my combi twin is more compact overall and easier to maneuver than my double snap n go! But it's all personal preference, and I'm sure there are better tandems than the snap n go

@MerryC: We have a Britax B-ready that will just have a second seat added to it, so I'm hoping it's no harder to navigate than it currently is, maybe the extra weight will make a difference though

Sometimes I struggle with a single stroller in stores! Some clothing stores -- including kids clothing stores! -- put their racks so lose together I have to really plan out my course of movement.

@Running Elley: that's was we did!

If I know we'll be in a lot of small stores, I always baby wear #2 and push #1 in the single stroller.

But if I take the double in small stores, people either feel obligated to help me, move things out of the way or give me dirty looks haha.

@Running Elley: that is my plan too! Although I think I will be wearing DS and not the little squish lol.
