I have to wake up my 3.5 yr old a lot these days -growth spurt?

It kills me but since I WOTH it has to be done - she normally tells me "No! its not time to wake up" and rolls over but then she will get up on her own and be happy.

On the rare occasion I to have to wake up DS though -watch out - he is a huge grump monster (just like me - I hate being woken up!!)

If we have to go somewhere yes. It turns out they sleep in only when we've got plans for the day!

Not in the am, but I do from naps! She can take some monster naps and I'm always worried if she sleeps too much she won't sleep at night. Throughout the day I don't let her sleep more than 3 hrs and I never let her sleep past 730 (she has an 830 bedtime)

Well after she wakes me the 5+ times throughout the night, I DO have to wake her at 730 every morning. Otherwise, she sleeps in late, and her whole sleep is screwed up all day and she thinks her bedtime is 1-2 am. Yawn.

We used to sometimes have to wake him up in the mornings. "But I'm still sleepy though." So cute and cuddly. Which is nice because he's NEVER cuddly. We also limit his naps now if he falls asleep during naptime, because if we let him sleep he'll nap for over an hour and then be up super late.

Sooooometimes and yeah, it kills me. My older daughter (3 years) will be drowzy and irritated with me for a while but my baby (10 months) will be rock and rollin' ready to go.

Yep. Never in the morning because he always wakes up earlier than i would like,but i have to wake him from almost every nap. He is never happy about it either.

Never in the am. She wakes between 6 & 630 so even if I WOH I think we would probably be golden. I have from naps for church or even library storytime or a doc appointment. It's pretty easy to do. Just open her door & turn off her fan & she will be up in 5 minutes

Yup, first day of school today and had to wake my DS up so we could take big sis to first grade.

I am very cold hearted - I always wake LO up.... he refused to sleep at night nowadays - his bedtime is 7:30pm, but he would keep playing in his crib until 8:30pm, and very often he'd summon us back in his room every 10 minutes between 7:30-8:30pm argh. And we have to get up at 7am the latest!
