Or is it just me?
We probably call LO 3-4 different things on a consistent basis, between her name, nickname, plus a hand full of cutesy nicknames. I sometimes wonder which one she really identifies with.
Or maybe she just thinks her name is "no". That is entirely possible, too, I guess.

Evan thought his name was "you" for a long time! We would point to a family photo on the wall and say "that's you, that's Evan!" and point between him in the photo and him IRL, but the part that stuck with him was "you". Eventually he would point to any picture of himself and say "you!"
We've made a point to try to teach him his actual name, now (although it's Eb-an 
)

we've stuck with her name and then row row more recently, so i think she knows, but she's a parrot these days without really understanding what we're asking! so we'll say, who are you? row row? and she'll say roro or something along those lines. but we could probably say anything and she would try to repeat it.

Our 21 month old calls himself "car" when he sees his picture (his name is Carter)

She knows her name but she can't pronounce it correctly yet. Do you ever ask her what her name is? How old is she?
I'm pretty sure my LO thought her name was baby up until 2 months ago!

She used to call herself "care-wah"
Then it was "care-ah"
Then "Claire-RAH"...huge emphasis on the rah
Now she can say Clara just fine. Sometimes she calls herself "baby girl" or "my baby" or monkey bc I'm always calling her stuff like that

She calls herself El-wee (Elly) but responds to her full name, Elizabeth (she just never calls herself that!)

My daughter knows her name but she sometimes calls herself "you" as well. She's getting better about using I, Mine, yours, you, etc.

Elliott answers to her name but I'm pretty sure she identifies more with "babba" - which is what I call her. When she's pleased with herself, she cheers "babba". When she's sad, she says "mama" but if she wants something (her bottle, for example) she cries, points at it and says "babba". She's always babbled the sound.... but now I really do think it means something (her!)!

Oh, good. I'm not the only one that thinks about this! My LO will respond to her name and nickname (and her cutesy name). She is just 12 months, so she isn't verbal enough to label herself. I can't wait to see what she picks!

She definitely isn't verbal enough to call herself anything (11.5 months) but she seems to respond to her name. She fails to respond to her other name, which is "C, leave the dog alone!"

Joel calls himself "Joooew" but responds to Joel, J, Joely and Joel Joel.
Also, I wish he responded to "no"

Norah knows her name and will say it after several prompting questions. But when first asked she will say her name is "cookie" not sure where that one came from lol

He knows his name is Brennan.. He will tell you.., I Brennan... Or Brennan milk, Brennan truck, etc

LO is 2 and knows her name. Sometimes she will also tell you her last name, so I know she knows it although she doesn't always say it. At school they've worked a lot on names, so she knows her own as well as all the names of the kids in her class.
She responds to many different nicknames and pet names

My LO knows his name, but refuses to say it. He'll answer to it, but will respond to it as "me." His receptive language is awesome, but he still won't call himself by his name. He inherited the stubborn gene.

since about 18 months I think, LO learned his name. When we say "where is LO", he points to himself. And when I say "where is a picture of LO", he points to his picture on the wall.

She uses the name that her friend uses for her. We call her Livy, but she and her friend say "Divy".

I think he knows his name. He responds well to it but it'll be a long time before he can say it himself!
