I wish I was 3 inches taller! 5'9 = perfect.

I'm 5'3" and I like being a shortie however when I first read the title I immediately got, "I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller" in my head haha.
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
Nope, I'm 5'0" and love it! I just don't like how my pants are always way too long, even when I buy the short/petite sizes.

I'm 5 feet and I always wish I was a few inches taller...5'4" would be perfect or even 5'2" would be nice. Clothes just seem more flattering on a longer frame

I think I'm the perfect height 5'7". Dh could be an inch or two taller though! (5'10").
admin / watermelon / 14210 posts
taller for sure. i am only 5 foot 2, but i have never really felt small. i would be happy just to be 5 foot 4, all in the leg!

Maybe shorter. I don't mind my height (5'9"), but the next tallest woman in my family is 5'3". The men are all over 6' so I really stand out.
I wish I was just a bit shorter so that I could wear heels with DH and not look taller than him.
My real dream is DH being taller.
pineapple / 12234 posts
Shorter...I'm 5'6" and all of my friends have always been 5'0-5'3" so I always felt like a giant. Although, if I were shorter, I would have to adjust my weight to go along with my height
pomegranate / 3779 posts
Shorter - I'm 5'11" and it is impossible to find clothes that fit properly unless I order online. I'm also taller than DH and while it doesn't really bother me, sometimes it would be nice to not be taller than everyone in his family.

I'm 5'2" and for the longest time I wished I was taller, because in school I was always the smallest. Now that I'm an adult, I don't mind my height as much, but I hate always having to get my pants hemmed!

Shorter, I'm 5'5 but would love to be 5'3-5'4… sometimes when I'm laying on the couch all stretched out I think, man, if I was just a tiny bit shorter sleeping here would be so comfy! Or on airplanes and other tight spaces too.
pomegranate / 3503 posts
I'd love to be 5'6.
@Mrs. High Heels: Haha. I'm so small, I can actually put the tray table down and lay my head on it to sleep on a plane.

@MrsSCB: Same here. Hehe.
I wish I could be taller at work, maybe 5'8" instead of 5'3". Between being short and looking young, I feel like I have to put forth a lot of extra effort with some clients, particularly older gentlemen that think of me like a daughter or granddaughter. But at 5:00pm I'd want to go back to pint-sized.

And no one has quoted the song, "I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller..."
I am 5'7" but I wish I was more like 5'8" or 5'9".

@BoogieBea: haha, that's what i'm talking about!! jealous!

I'm 5'4. I actually "grew" an inch when I started doing yoga and Pilates consistently. I used to with I was about 5'7 or 5'8 but I'm happy with my height now. I can wear my 5 inch heels and not tower over everyone and my husband.

Taller please! I would LOVE to be 5'3 or 5'4. I am 5'0 but wore heels everyday prior to being a SAHM so I never felt small. The right shoe would always give me that boost of confidence at work!

@MrsSCB: @mrsjazz: haha, great song!
I'm 5'4" and wouldn't mind being a bit taller, especially if the extra inches went to my torso to make me a bit more proportional.
pomegranate / 3706 posts
I'm just under 5'10" and love being tall- even if it is hard to find pants long enough. My whole fam on my dad's side is tall- my "little" sister is 6' and my dad is 6'5". DH is 6'3", so I can wear whatever shoes I want and never "tower over him," but I wouldn't care if I did. Tall girls rock and I love that DD is already very tall at 20 months old!

@chopsuey: isn't it so funny what we think is a "good" height? I'm 5'9" and always felt too tall and wanted to be a few inches shorter! I think I've finally settled into it now though
honeydew / 7917 posts
I'm happy being 5'3". I'm surprisingly considered tall in DH's family, and he is only a few inches taller than me.
pomegranate / 3863 posts
I wish I were taller but stayed the same weight so I'd be skinnier But I'm fine at 5'2....DH is short so I wouldn't want to be taller than him.

I'm just shy of 5'9 and I wish I was taller
I already feel like I'm shrinking lol
kiwi / 659 posts
I always felt so short growing up, but I think that's because I was kind of a late bloomer... Now at 5'3 it would be nice to add a couple of inches, but I also like being petite!
papaya / 10343 posts
No. I'm 5'6" and it feels like a good height. I do feel short because I'm shorter than most of my friends and much shorter than my 6'3" husband, but I don't mind being short.
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@erinpye: I love being tall, too! I'm 6'0". I don't wish to be any different height-wise.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
in high school i used to wish i was shorter, esp in church, where all my friends (korean church) were 5'4" or shorter... i felt like a giant at almost 5'8"...
