Now that DS is a year, I think I'm at a perfect FTM age for me. (30). When I first got pregnant I felt too young to be a mom (28 going on 29). But, I've always felt like a teenager inside! 
Most of my close girlfriends are my age+ and are just starting TTC, pregnant with first, or DINKs!!
I have friends across the states who are young moms, in their 20s, 30s, 40s as FTMs across the board. I think it varies regionally, etc.
How do you feel?

Normal. I'll be 29 when my LO is born. All my friends that have babies are right around the same age.

Because I'm one of the few in my friend group to have a baby, sometimes I feel young. I'm 32 (30 when LO was born), and my guess is that 32-36 is the average age for a first pregnancy in the New York area? I could be wrong, though - just basing that on my experience.

I feel young because I am. Lol. I'm 23 with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Though around here, being really young with kids is normal.

I feel like a young(er) mom because most of my friends don't have kids yet, and a good amount of them say they're not ready. We already have two... and my 2nd is about to turn 1!
Had 1st kid at 27, and 2nd at 29. Sounds pretty normal, but for our generation and where I live, it's on the younger side.

I feel normal. I was 31 when I got pregnant and had him at 32. I think I was in the middle of our group of friends for first time pregnancies.

I feel like a normal mom with my friends! Most started having kids in their late 20s and early 30s.

I will be edging up on 29 when LO gets here. When I see the age 29, that feels old to me to be FTM, but I feel so young!!!! Lol. And I definitely feel the right age when I see others who have toddlers or became FTM at 24 - I definitely wasn't ready then!
Funny enough, my mom and my sister both were FTM at age 21, so I used to think that's when I would want to be one too, but OMG I absolutely could not imagine that!!! At my age, both of them had 2 children, the oldest of which was 8.

Average...I'm 27, so that's pretty normal, but I'm still the first of my friends to have a baby!

I was 25 when my son was born and the first one of my friends who had a baby. I def feel young lol. I'm pregnat with baby #2 and still the only one of my friends that has kiddos. Its a good age for us though!

I feel average most of the time (I was 28 when LO was born). But I feel super young when I go to day care. Most of the other parents are old. But I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that we go to a pretty expensive day care.

@travellingbee: Yes, I was going to say as a new mom in NY (had M at 33) I feel I'm an average age. But I know it can depend on the region you're in. Most moms I know had their first child around my age or a bit older.

Youngish. None of my friends my age had any kids yet and still don't. I was 26 when DS was born and I'm now 28 and will be when #2 arrives. It seems that right now people I went to high school with are just starting to have their first kid.

I feel youngish even though I am not (30 when I gave birth!). I think it's because I feel younger than my age and most of my friends had their first kids at 33+. I am one of the youngest in my group of friends.

Young! I was 26 when I had her. It's a completely average age to have kids here in TX (if not a little behind! :p) but I'm the first in our group to have one.

I feel young in that "how the hell am I actually responsible for someone else's life?" but I guess actually old. I was 31 when dd was born and most of my friends have toddlers or school aged children.

I will feel average if we get pregnant in the next few years- deliver 32-35. At 36, I will start feeling old I suspect.

Average, maybe even slightly young for New York.
31 for first, 32 for second (3 weeks before my 33rd birthday!) I was on the younger side of having kids amongst my friends.

I was 25 when I had DS, so for him I feel like a young mom. A lot of parents of kids in his class are a lot older.
For LO, I was feeling like an older mom, but I'm noticing more women around my age having babies, so I guess I'm pretty average.

I'm 29 now. Some days, I feel average, some days old, some days young. My friends all started having babies at 23-24, so compared to them, I feel old! But my mom had me when she was 30, so I guess I always figured growing up that 30 was when you started to have babies.
I would have liked to be a little younger, and sometimes it makes me sad that we didn't start earlier. You know what makes me feel better, though? Hearing Will and Kate referred to as "young parents," and they are 2 years older than me. So if they can still be a young family, then so can I!

I feel like a young mom- I had just turned 24 when LO was born. None of my close friends have kids yet, but around here many people start having kids in their mid-twenties, so it's not really abnormal.
I always hoped I'd be a "young" mom. I was 21 when I got married and I knew I wanted kids soonish.

I had J when I was 31. I was the first of my best friends to have a baby.
Lots of my cousins who live down South had babies the same year and they are 10 years younger than me.
