I had saw a new dentist last week and the hygienist there was telling me that I am supposed to floss before I brush and not after. I never knew this. Do you floss before or after you brush?

My dentist told me to brush, floss then rinse with listerine.

I've always flossed first and then brushed to make sure I get rid of all the stuff I flossed out.

I usually do after I brush... I figure at least I'm flossing, I'm not going to worry about it too much more past that!

i've always heard brush-floss-rinse, but i'm with @jerricabenton, i like to make sure i brush away all the stuff i flossed out.

Brush, floss, then rinse. I could see why flossing first would be better though...

Floss, brush, mouthwash. The point of flossing is to get the debris out from between the teeth and then I like to brush it away! If I flossed debris out after I brushed I think my mouth would still feel dirty.

Always floss, brush, then use ACT. Brushing 2nd gets the bits flossing loosened or didn't.
