I've always heard people say they gain weight over the holidays. Does this happen to you? Do you have to work extra hard after the holidays to work it off?

Maybe when we eat with DH's family. I usually lose weight when we spend holidays with my family!

Maybe a pound or two but it usually comes off after holidays, I try to enjoy all the food but in moderation.

Not really. Nothing that feels super noticeable or that I have to "work" off.

I usually gain a couple of pounds. I'm working hard this year to not gain any weight but still enjoy the food.

I don't weigh myself, but I do feel like my stomach deflates less overnight than it usually does! Usually after a few days everything seems back to normal.

I don't, but after the holidays I really want to get serious about some fitness for next year!

No. My family is crazy healthy so there's never a ton of junk food around- even Christmas cookies.

Every year! The weight gain starts with Halloween candy, transitions into Thanksgiving goodies and then smoothly flows into the Christmas eating. I would say that vendor appreciation baskets at work are responsible for most of my weight gain. It's just constant cookies, candies, and goodies. I usually gain about five pounds which I end up losing in January.
