No. But I do always worry that I somehow managed to book the wrong dates!

@MsLipGloss: Omg I booked me and P using miles and booked the kids separately. I must have checked a dozen times to make sure they were flying the same days and same flights as us.

@MsLipGloss: same here!
@chopsuey: I had to book our last trip with DH and I on separate reservations because we were using miles and I also had the same paranoia that we were using the wrong dates!
DH once booked the wrong date for a work trip. He meant to book a trip to California for just 1 day (not staying overnight) and he accidentally booked for 2 days. He showed up at the airport and realized he was 24 hrs too early to return home! They charged him $100 or so to change it. Oops

@sunny: I have a friend who not only booked te wrong destination CITY, she actually flew there before realizing her mistake and had to get a rental car and drive to the other city!

@Foodnerd81: Omg!
I have an acquaintance who is a flight attendant and she says she announces the city NUMEROUS times on the plane before takeoff and on more than one occasion, right as they're going to close the doors, someone dashes off the plane saying that isn't the one they are supposed to be on! LOL! (I guess they didn't scan their boarding pass at the gate?)

@MsLipGloss this. I once booked myself the wrong date coming home from a long work trip and I've been paranoid ever since.
Now, my biggest fear is that a work trip is going to overlap with the vacation tickets that I purchased. My company is usually very good about respecting vacations, but I can't help but think that something will go wrong.

@chopsuey: this! And then I look at our tickets 1827362 times on the days leading up to our trip to make sure we leave the house at the right time.
I also get butterflies when making that large of a purchase. Is this a good rate? Should we have shipped around more? What if this airline sucks?

Ugh yes! I hate final sales and flights are the worst of them! I wish they would stop playing their stupid pricing game and just set them all already. And to make it worse, I continue to check flight prices even after I buy them until a few weeks before the trip.

Yep! The flying process in general makes me anxious, so it isn't really surprising. I have to check everything about fifteen thousand times.

@MsLipGloss: My mom did that once. She's not allowed to buy plane tickets in the middle of the night anymore.

@Foodnerd81: One time I booked my flights out of one airport, but back home into a different airport. I probably did it on purpose at the time (both airports were reasonably near my house), but I didn't remember I had done that. In any case, when I was flying home I tried to board the *wrong* plane back to the city I had flown out of on my departure leg. Then when the gate agent told me I wasn't on that flight, I flipped out and realized my mistake and had to beg to get it changed b/c my car was waiting for me at the airport I flew out of initially.
That was during a time when I was flying a ton for work, and I think I got a little too laid back about booking flights. So yes, it's a good idea to stress a little over your flight bookings.
