In the summers I try to get a pedi every 2-3 weeks but that's it.
Do you get your hair done regularly? Waxing? Mani/pedi?

I get a cut and partial highlight every 10 weeks, give or take a week. And I go to the Dermatologist every 6 months for a checkup.

I used to get mani/pedi's once a month but cut that out after I got married (OMG 2.5 years ago!) I need to get that going again.. at least my toes (yuck!)
I get a haircut every year (LOL this is so horrible now that I'm typing it out) and I'm allergic to hair dye, so I haven't dyed my hair since high school.
I miss getting my hair done and nails done!! I'd like to try a bikini wax and see if it's worth it, too. I'm afraid of the ingrowns!

Cut every 12 weeks or so, facial 3-4 times a year (usually at the season's change)

I was getting laser hair removal before getting pregnant. It's on hold for now, but after I'm done breast feeding, it's on!!!

Pedi once a month. I was also getting a gel manicure twice a month, but that may have to go with daycare expenses.

Haircut every 5 weeks or so. Eyebrows waxed every 3 weeks. Leg, bikini, and underarm waxing as needed (except bikini I touch up with an epilator at home if I can't make it for waxing). Facials I should get more often, right now a few a year. Mani/Pedi usually just for an occasion and beginning of spring/summer.
Waxing instead shaving has really increased my time at the spa, but it's soooo worth it not to shave every day!

Eyebrows every 2 months maybe, haircut every 5-6 months. I probably get a pedicure every 1.5-2 months too.

I get my roots done and a trim every 8-9 weeks. It's the one thing I haven't been able to cut out of my budget, but I do at least go to a discount salon!

I've never had a mani/pedi, and I haven't had a professional hair cut in years for a completely dumb reason. When I lived in Baltimore, I had the perfect hairstylist. After I moved, I didn't get my hair cut because I didn't want to deal with the stress of someone else messing it up!
(And now, since I trim it myself, I'm afraid that a hairstylist will think I've lost a bet with a lawn mower!)

@babyjmama: haha! i'm sure you look fabulous and don't need any beauty treatments!
i wish i got beauty treatments more frequently. i get haircuts about 2x/year, and my eyebrows about 1x/year (the other times i "maintain" at home). i will get pedicures sporadically, although during the summer i try to get them 1x/month.

I used to do bikini waxes regularly, like every 5 weeks or so, because it was just so much easier to not have to worry about it and it's less painful and I got fewer ingrowns if i did it regularly. That went out the window with this whole pregnancy thing!
Otherwise, not really-- manis / pedis are pretty sporadic, only when I feel like treating myself or a friend suggests it (though I'm going today-- 9 months pregnant and I am not about to do acrobatics to reach the toes!). haircuts I usually wait until I'm desperate then go, maybe 3 times a year. I don't color my hair (mainly because I know I wouldn't keep up on the touch ups). And I tweeze my own eye brows and such.
@Vegmama: I'm curious if the pregnancy hormones affect the areas you already treated with the laser hair removal? I was considering it for a while, but I knew we'd be TTC soon and I read that the preg hormones can make it grow back weird anyway so I figured I'd just wait until I was done.

@edelweiss: lol well you're kind....but to give you an idea, I painted my toes in the car before walking into work this morning bc I realized they looked like I'd had a tumble with a lawn mower and was wearing sandals. And yes, I had polish in my purse. Why? I have no idea.

@Foodnerd81: My sister said it did affect her laser-treated area! Hair is growing back!
I gave up a lot of beauty treatments once I stopped working a 3 years ago. I used to get a pricey haircut 2-3xs a year, a mani/pedi every couple of months, bikini wax every month.
Now, I stretch everything out in between, and even more so since the baby arrived! I have recently gotten a facial (thanks, Mom!) and gel nails (Groupon!) I think it's important to still make myself feel pretty once in awhile.

I get my eyebrows waxed once a month. And I get my hair done about 4x a year. I get mani/pedis now and again (every couple of months?)

@babyjmama: lol no way! But same here
I use to but not anymore. No one ever watches the LO's - we haven't even been on a date night in 15 months let alone an appointment (other than to the dentist) to take care of myself. How depressing!
