When you eat asparagus and then pee later, do you get that asparagus pee smell?

I always thought everyone's pee smelled funny after asparagus! I never knew some didn't until a post on this a few months ago and people said theirs didn't! Crazy!

I never notice, but my husband whines a bit. Too bad, we only eat asparagus in season so it's pretty much every day for a month! Mmmmm...love it.

YES! I think it's why my parents convinced me to eat asparagus. They also told me that eating my beets would turn my pee red--it got me to eat them, too, but it never worked!

i read somewhere that some people's pee DOES smell funny after asparagus, but they cannot smell it. and some people's pee just doesn't smell funny at all. i have asparagus pee, and it grosses me out.
