I have just bought DD a jumperoo for Christmas! I'm SO excited to give it to her!! I'm not sure how I'm going to get through the next seven weeks without caving and getting it out!! It's not like she knows what Christmas is, yet! BUT then I will feel the need to buy her another big gift to replace it!!!
Ack, I love buying things for my baby! We are going to stuff her stocking with solids related paraphernalia and some fun little toys! I can't wait to buy them!!

YES! The holiday season is infinitely more exciting now that I have a kid. I have always been crazy about Christmas, but this is the most excited I've ever been!

Yes! I have to hide the gifts in the basement closet so I don't see them and cave. I know she will love her drumset and everything else. Hiding is key for me!

Yes!! I already got some toys for her, and since I was being slow in putting them away she kind of played with them for two days and she LOVED them. I felt horrible putting them up, but if I didn't I would have had to buy more... haha.

Haha! I think when she's older, I will, but right now, she hasn't shown mega-excitment over any toys. Her favourite thing is still having us make goofy noises.

umm yup. last year she was just under 3 months, so I actually used some of her gifts with her and then still "opened" them on christmas morning. she had no clue, obviously.
this year, I already gave her the Little People Farm. HAHA. She was literally vibrating with excitement, rubbing the box and dancing in Target, so how the heck could I say no?

Oh god, we must be bad parents. DH and I were talking the other day and wondering if we need to get her gifts. We just know so many family members are going to ask what she wants and spoil her, and of course, we buy her everything she needs anyway, so we were thinking maybe we wouldn't buy her anything big and just request it from the grandparents. AND even worse, when asked about what she wants, I was thinking about asking for solids stuff-- who wants to give, or receive, bowls for Christmas for a baby!?
That said, I should start researching what jumparoo and high chair I want, since people are starting to ask!

@Cherrybee: YESS. I was just telling DH this morning how excited I was for Xmas! It's not like she'll have any idea what's going on, but *I* will!! Yay for a jumperoo!! I really want to get LO one but I'm not sure if it's in the budget this year! We'll see!
@Foodnerd81: Haha you aren't bad parents. We just bought her clothes that we would have anyways! I'll probably add a book or two, but like you said, she's going to get SO spoiled by everyone else!

@Foodnerd81: We had the same conversation a few weeks ago and agreed that we would buy her nappies and wipes for Christmas this year..... but then I started shopping for our family and friends (I had to get it done very early this year because I have just gone down to half pay) and I got the bug!!
