I do not, but Mrs. Bee is much better about having a dermatologist check for the ABCDs:
A= Asymmetry-one half is unlike the other half.
B= Border Irregular-scalloped or poorly circumscribed border.
C= Color Varied-from one area to another; shades of tan and brown; black; sometimes red, white,or blue
D= Diameter larger than 6mm as a rule (diameter of a pencil eraser)
I just saw in Google that there's an E too now: Elevation.
Do you get your moles checked out regularly for the ABCDEs?

Yup. I go once a year. I spoke to my doctor about a few moles that I was worried about that were elevated and she said not to worry about those. It's the moles that are a different color than the others and ones that change that are the ones you want to be observing. I have to go in in August and get one removed from my torso. Not looking forward to that!

I do not but there is one mole that I have that changed in terms of B, D, and E when I was pregnant and my OB said that it was fine/normal but since having LO it hasn't gone back to the way it was (as OB said it would). I SHOULD get it checked.

I try to go every 6 months because I have a lot of moles...I had such an annoying experience at the dermatologist in march that I refuse to go back, so now I need to find a new one!

I've never been, and I absolutely need to! I have felt too... embarrassed?! Which I know is totally unfounded and ridiculous. I have a reminder in my phone to schedule an appointment for next month. Trying to work up the courage to call.

No, I don't really have issues with moles. DH gets his checked regularly.

I don't have many moles so I've never been! I do get annual blood tests and physicals though

I don't have any moles, but at my annual physical, the doctor will look around my body and check for them.

Yep, I go once a year to get them checked out. Last year I had to have one removed because it looked "suspicious" but the results came back normal.

my physician checks every year too - I did have them remove one to see because it was elevated and darker in certain areas than others (on the same mole), but it turned out to be fine.
