Lo woke at 4am and it's obvious she's tired, but girlfriend won't sleep! She won't eat much either. I tried forcing her to sleep and was about to lose it when DH came swooping in to rescue her.
I swear it makes me crazy.

@chopsuey119: YES! I just want to say "But honey, look how red your eyes are, don't you realize you're still tired?" but I don't think at 5 months he'd quite get it He woke up crazy early this morning...I'm only surviving because of the ridiculous amount of coffee in my system. Hoping for a nap later since it's Saturday!

YES! She has a stuffy nose and is sleeping so poorly. She woke up a bit before 8 am and by 930 I said OK you just need to go back to bed. It was a fight but now she's sleeping peacefully across my lap. I'm just going to hang out though and not try to put her down bc her lil head is propped up and she finally doesn't sound horrible and she neeeeeds the nap. Howd the nosefrieda work out?

My daughter's one truly bad period of sleep between 6-8 months caused my post partum depression. It was purely the sleep deprivation. I was going so nuts.

God yes. I am as big a crabby mess as she is when she doesn't sleep well.

Yes, I have such a short fuse for that. Lately M only wants to sleep when I'm holding her. It can take up to 2 hrs before she will let me put her in the crib. Drives me bonkers!!

@Maysprout: nose Frida is awesome. Lo finally understands that it helps her breathe.
She freaked out and fought it last night but I told her "umma help nose and boogers" and she's been staying calm.
Being able to communicate with her is so freaking wonderful.

Omg yes! LO's sleep is my biggest source of stress. He woke up at 4am this morning and wouldn't go back to sleep :(. But I kept him up until 8am and he napped for 2 hours! So maybe we're back on track for a 1pm nap. Praying for a good afternoon nap.

Yes! If you can't tell by my recent posts I've been stressed and obsessed with LO's sleep. I feel so bad when I know she is not getting enough, but won't sleep.
And like always, right when I'm almost at the brink of sanity she'll have a decent nap/sleep.
