DH and I promised we'd do monthly date nights after we had DS. Obviously, it was harder to do in actuality vs our pre-baby dreams of life after baby! 
It was sort of sporadic the first year... maybe a handful of times (including weddings etc.)
But, in 2014 we've been pretty good about it! We do a date night every month or 1.5 months and even went on our first vaca without LO last week!

Not often enough! We haven't had one in a couple months. We going to a concert with friends in a month. But I am going to see if my cousin will come babysit one night this month.

We go once a month, on average. If love to go every other week but that won't happen until after the summer most likely.

We went on one in February and we're going on one this Friday 
Should be easier now that DD's down to nursing once a day, but yeah, we really need to work on that!

Nope! There was two occasions where my parents watched DS for a couple hours so that we could hang out with my cousins and the other time was to meet his tennis leauge teammates. Not really dates in my mind.

Ha, no. We've been on three date nights since DS was born a year ago. We did also get away for 5 days in February which was amazing. With DD due in the next month I doubt we'll see an increase in date nights but we're already planning a week long getaway in November of 2015.

Right now, bun's just in the oven and we usually eat out at least once a week. We count any kind of eating out as date time (day or night) since mostly we eat at cheap/casual places.
Def not happening once LO arrives so we def have a lot to learn about making time for just us!

Maybe once every 4-6 weeks? LO goes to bed early (6:30) and we don't go to bed til after 10, so we have a lot of alone time together in the evenings.

It was at least once (usually 2x) a month until we had DD2. Now it's about once a month. It's so much harder with 2 kids!

Nope. I wish we did though! We don't live next to family and by the time you add up the cost of dinner and a movie plus babysitter, I start questioning how much I really care to go out. We usually end up eating takeout on the couch

Date nights are difficult for us, so instead, we meet for lunch at least once during the week. Speaking of, have to put the next one on the calendar!

Never! I want to but we don't have family nearby to help watch LO and its already really hard for DH to put her down to sleep so I can't imagine a stranger trying to do it. I would be so anxious!

Without family in the country to help, it gets really pricey. We go every couple of months but I wish it was more.

We aren't really date-y people. We'd rather hang out at home in our sweats, watch a movie and eat some cookies than go to a restaurant and pay for dinner + drinks. (Also, we're obviously cheap... haha).
One of the best 'dates' we've had in a while was hanging out on our deck while the weather was nice and playing cribbage with a cigar and margaritas (obviously not pregnant).

We don't have a baby yet so this will all change this fall... Fall/Winter we usually go out most Saturday nights, sometimes with friends sometimes just us. Spring/Summer we do long walks together which in my mind totally counts and over the weekends do day trips every other weekend or so.

We try too, usually for birthdays and anniversaries. Usually when we have a babysitter its due to a wedding, party, ect. Very rarely is it just the two of us, we need to be better about making time for just us too. WE do a lot of movie date nights after LO goes to bed.

My husband is a pilot and so he's home 3-4 days during the week, and we have the good fortune of having my parents nearby, so we drop the LO off for the afternoon to go see a movie, shop and get coffee and then pick him up for bedtime. We try to do it once a month at least.

Two Saturdays a month. We were terrible about date nights during DD's first year, so we made a new year's promise to ourselves that we would find a regular babysitter. It definitely adds up, but it is SO worth it.

We were pretty consistent with date nights when we only had one LO, but after having two kids, and with DD's bedtime pushed back later... now our "date nights" consist of hanging out in the living room while catching up on TV!
We schedule day dates sometimes though, where we'll both take PTO and go watch a movie and eat lunch together! We have one planned for this Friday!

We used to...but we haven't had a date night since February! We've just been so busy! I'm really hoping we get in 2 this month though- our dating anniversary is this weekend and our wedding anniversary is in 2 weeks!

We haven't had one since November! Lo is 20 months and I think we've had 3-4 date nights in that time. We have one organized for the end of this month though. I haven't spent the night away from lo either.

We try to do twice a month! We've been able to take a few kid free mini-vacations this year which does wonders
