DH and I NEVER go out, we are such homebodies and don't like anyone watching LO if we dont have to. But I'm thinking I need a night out! How often do you go out? Who watches LO? do you go out with friends or just DH?

We'll go out to dinner or something but we'll take lo. There's also usually events downtown or we'll go for a walk on the Marina after dinner. Or we'll go to the beach..... there's lots of baby friendly things to do and it's easier to keep her happy and entertained if we're out.
We do have date nights on Thursdays. My parents come and take her and my pup to dinner so we can get out by ourselves.

We rarely go out together either, but would if we had family nearby to babysit. We frequently go out separately with our friends, though.

Since we don't have family nearby, we tend to stay home unless we can get a friend to look after LO. I always get nervous, though, since none of my friends have children of their own. It's not that I don't think they're capable - more that I worry that if LO is fussy or having a bad night they won't want to watch her again. Silly, I know. I will say that as she's 3.5 months now and on formula it's a lot easier. And, since she goes to bed so early I often have friends look after here after she's gone down for the night - so, essentially they're just here in case she wakes up, which she pretty much never does.

We usually stay together on the weekends and we tend to be homebodies too. DH works long hours during the week so on weekends we'd rather spend time as much as a family as possible. He misses her when he's working.

I really really really wish we could go out to dinner every other weekend, or see a movie or SOMETHING! But, we don't have any family here and the baby sitter we were using has proven to be untrustworthy. So, we are stuck at home.
