As long as they don't have a temperature and aren't vomiting/diarrhea-ing, I'll take them out for a short outing.

LO has only been sick twice since she was born. One of the times we had no choice but to make our seven hour solo greyhound bus ride home from visiting my parents after Christmas, and this second time I was sick too, so we both stayed home for a couple day.

Yes. Errands but not classes or parties.

Depends what kind of sick. If she just has a runny nose/cough we still run errands and go to the park. If she's feeling lazy or has a fever we just stay home.
