We just got back from a birthday party! It was for an old daycare friend... the kids had a blast.
With two kids (and both in preschool/school), we have a lot of birthday parties on our calendar! I don't love all the socializing with strangers required at bday parties (introvert here), but the kids have a ball! Plus it's cold out so having fun and free indoor events is a huge plus.
Do you go to a lot of birthday parties?

considering that you (i presume) have to buy a gift for each of these parties... not really free is it? Lol.
but no. We're not really in the kids birthday party stage of life yet. Probably in a few years.

A fair amount. The first weekend in Dec we have one on Sat and Sun, and then the weekend after, probably one for my daughter. But we haven't been to any since one in late October. I'd say it averages to one per month.

@Mae: gosh I agree! In the summer I started rsvping no just because I couldn't afford all the gifts! There was 4 in one weekend!!!!

It's birthday season here - we've had four in the past month and two more before J's birthday 12-17. The holidays mixed in and it's just chaos, lol

Yep, at least 2 a month. It is great because I use it as leverage when DD isn't listening to me.

I love going to kids birthday parties! As a working mom, it's where I get my intel on the goings on in the classroom/school.
Oh, and my son loves them too, lol. We have a standard gift, I order multiples on amazon just to be prepared.

There are more drop off parties now that DD is 4 so I don't have the attend.
