We go twice a week. I love it because it's a free way to entertain LO for the morning, and since I'm a SAHM I like to get her around other kids. It's also nice that it's indoors, considering it's pretty much summer here and summer in Florida means either hot hot hot or thunderstorms.

We go twice a week and its the highlight of my day! My LO loves seeing other babies and I love the socializing after too.
My library is taking a summer break. So sad!

I want to start taking LO, they only offer it Wednesday mornings at the library right by me (walking distance) so we will probably just go once a week instead of traveling to the other libraries that are 10+ minutes away.

I have tried to, but I didn't know there was a separate story hour room the one time I tried to go. Plus it always ran into LO's nap time and required signing up months in advance.

Sometimes. They have some fun 'extras' for preschoolers, like ribbon streamers, maracas, etc., but I'm usually unimpressed by the books they pick and the way they are read. Reading to a group, especially one composed of 2 and 3 year olds, requires some dramatic flair if you hope to keep their attention, you know?

I'm planning on going tomorrow for the first time. I hope she doesn't fuss the whole time. It's a "lap sit for pre-walkers only" so I guess she probably wouldn't be the only one fussing!

Yes, we go once a week and it's really nice. I've met some moms there already and we had our first playdate today!

We go every week. My local county library and the city library nearby both put on two storytimes every day. It's awesome to have so many options!

@regberadaisy: They have special things on the weekends sometimes at our library. They had a teddy bear picnic recently.... but it's always during LO's nap time.
