Do you have a doggy door?

No. I'd feel nervous with one. If my dog could it through it then a small person could.

No but I bought a gate that has a little doggy door for her to escape my oldest when he started crawling. Then my son figured out how to crawl through that.

We have a dog door, and our dogs love it. It can be closed when we're out of town or the weather is bad. We worried that we would lose a ton of A/C through it, but it has a double door design that actually works really well at keeping indoor "weather" in and outdoor weather out. So far, the only negative has been that the dogs bring a lot more dirt into the house because of it. At 10 months, LO has crawled over to it and touched it a few times, but she hasn't been too interested in it yet - I hope she stays that way!

I do and it's been great.... except for the dogs digging and barking at the neighbors. I used to be away from the house for 10 hours a day and I didn't think it was fair to leave them inside that long. So now we have a dog door that's big enough for a grown man to fit through (since we have a great Dane).

No. Id be worried about lo and other animals using it. The people who used to live here had a cat door, but its closed off.

Absolutely. We couldn't live without one. We've never had an issue with other animals using it and my son looks at it and pats it occasionally but doesn't do anything else. If we go out of town we put down the security cover.
