I really want to make one but am scared of it not looking right! I see so many beautiful images on Pinterest. My goal is to get one up this year above our credenza!
Do you have one? Where is it?

We started one in the hallway. We just bought more frames that we need to hang up. All pictures (mostly of R) so far. I need to get some prints mixed in.

We had one in our dining room, but took it down for showing or house. It was all photos from vacations we've taken. We have one up over D's dresser in his room. It's a mix of prints and photos.

We have a small one in LO's room. I want to put one next to our staircase.

I have 2 gallery frames, the kind that hang from a bar and all the frames are connected, but we had them so long that the frames warped and so they hang crooked. So I wrapped them all up for the move and haven't hung them again now that we're in the new house. I may just toss them and get big canvas prints of our favorite photos.

We have one in our dining room. It's mostly art, but there are two framed, black-and-white family photos and a silhouette of LO mixed in.

I was really concerned about it looking weird so I ordered a gallery in a box kit from Pottery Barn. I think it looks great! We put it in the hallway by the family room. Be warned though--even with templates it was hard to install and get perfect.

We mostly just have framed photos on the mantle. I'm building a gallery wall in my daughter's room. It'll be a work in progress as I collect more prints or wait for some of her artwork.

I have a small gallery wall in the entry way wit pictures from our wedding.

Yes - we have one that's a medium sized work in progress by the stairs on a large wall. I love it! The "centerpiece" so to speak is our fingerprint tree guest book thing from our wedding, which we had framed, and then pictures of family, us, etc.

We have a large one along our stairs. I definitely recommend using paper templates before you put anything up. It will save you a lot of headache!

Yes, I have one behind out couch. I love it, it turned out better than I expected. A mix of pictures (different sizes/mismatch frames) and a couple signs!

We have one in our kitchen. It's not perfect, but I love it. I love adding and changing out pictures and Liam loves to point out everyone in his family.

It went up last week. We are still unsure on whether or not we like it, letting it stay for now, and see if it grows on us.

We have one from our wedding in the dining room, and LO's room has a growing display of our family photos (maternity, her newborn shots, 3mo+, etc). I like the "from the box" wedding display…the nursery display is still a bit of a work in progress.

Yep, we just installed one above our bed. We hung the frames and are now filling them.

We do above our couch in the family room. I love it and have devoted all of the pictures to our families

@yoursilverlining: Will you post a pic later or wall me with a pic?? I need staircase gallery wall inspiration!

I want one. But every time I think about getting frames to start the gallery, I feel like I will end up spending hundreds of dollars or something ridiculous - even at Target! So I've never pursued it. I'm not a good thrifty shopper.

@MrsMcD: I love Ikea frames and they're really inexpensive! This blogger got 15 frames for her gallery wall for $110.

@lawbee11: Thank you so much!! I can totally finagle $100 out of my budget.

@Mrs. Bee: If you're worried about it looking right, I suggest laying it out on the floor first. We laid out all the pieces we were considering, decided what looked cohesive, and then created an arrangement we liked. We did all of that on a sheet of packing paper, and we then used a pencil to mark where the nails should go. We used masking tape to hang the paper up, knocked in the nails through the paper and then tore the paper down. Instant gallery wall, no extra holes in the wall.

We have one behind the sofa in the living room and one above M's dresser/changing table.

I made a really big one in our hallway.
There is a picture of two walls in this thread: http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/how-do-you-decorate-your-hallways#post-896093
It is a side by side pic, not a super narrow hallway.

We went with picture ledges because I knew I wouldn't have the patience to put up that many nails!!

I have one above our piano. I love it! I got all of the frames from The Christmas Tree store, so it was less than $6 a frame

@MrsMcD: Here's another option. Its a bit more expensive than Ikea, but I thought the frames & mats were really well made and they provided some really easy to use templates. I've purchased frames from Michaels before and they are just so cheaply made I wasn't happy with them and I wasn't happy with the mats.

I used a 20% off coupon to bring the price down too.
