Our coffee maker is on its last leg and we're thinking about replacing it with a Keurig. Do you have one?

We have a breville, which also uses the k-cups. I was initially against getting one because I liked my coffee maker, but now I LOVE it. It's so convenient and so fast. Plus it makes it easy to try lots of different kinds of coffee.

I have a Keurig. I got it as a gift. The nice thing about it is I'm the only one who drinks coffee at home and it's easy to make one cup. I'd like a drip pot though.

They don't have them in the UK, so we don't have one (we have a Nespresso)- but I gave one to my mom a couple of Christmas' ago. At first she was all "uh... thanks?" and now she LOOOOVES her nice coffee

We have a Keurig and love it! Actually, ours broke down not too long ago (after owning it for 3+ years) and Keurig sent us a brand new machine free of charge when they realized they couldn't fix our broken one!
We do use K-Cups, but we also use the mesh filter insert quite often, since I like to grind my own beans.

I'm the only one who drinks coffee in our house, so I can easily make myself a cup. I love it! Before I was trying to make small pots in our regular coffee maker and it never came out right.

We have a Keurig that is dying at less than 3 years of light use. Not impressed.

We got one from Costco a long time ago and weren't very impressed. Ended up returning it for a full refund a few months later.

I love having a Keurig, especially now that I'm pregnant. I have a couple girl friends that come over and spend the night and in the morning one wants dark roast, one wants medium roast, and I have decaf, and it's just soooooo convenient. Plus I can make hot chocolate or tea with it, hehe.

@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: Call customer service! I was pretty sad that ours completely stopped working after a little over three years. When I called customer service they walked me through some troubleshooting issues. It didn't work so they told me to package up the machine and send it to them and they'd fix it, free of charge. A few weeks later we got a brand new machine in the mail with a letter saying they couldn't fix our old machine so they replaced it instead. Now, I can't say enough good things about the company and their customer service!

DH was so against the Keurig when we received it as a gift but now he LOVES it! (I do, too!) So easy to clean, makes one perfect cup at a time - which is awesome for us because before we would make a pot and it would mostly go to waste.
I want to get a little one for my office.

No, I drink either drip or Starbucks instant via. I find the Keurig isn't strong enough for me.

I vote other. We have a Keurig and I do like it, but not as a daily coffee maker. We actually don't use it that often. We have a Bunn which imo is hard to beat.

We got one at our wedding shower off of our registry, and we've used it every single day for the last 3.5 years. We buy the k-cups online (Amazon subscribe & save). It's the thing we use the most of all of our wedding gifts.

We like it for on-the-go coffee and quick cups, but I don't think it would ever fully replace the French press.

We have one and I really like it. I rarely drink more than one cup and it's always a waste if I make a pot of coffee. It's perfect for me. We still have our traditional coffee maker in case family visits because they are more likely to drink a lot of coffee. DH's mother visited us (ugh!) and made 4 different cups of coffee using the keurig and took maybe 2 sips out of each of them. It drove me crazy!
I also like using it to heat water if I want a cup of tea. I just drop the teabag in a mug and let the water run over it. It's great for that! Oh, & I love the Apple Cider Kcups!!

Nope! love our cuisinart, but have one at work and use it a ton!

No, but my SIL has one and loves it because her husband is the only one who drinks coffee. Both DH and I drink coffee regularly (OK, when i'm not pregnant, cuz right now, yuck) so it's easier to make a pot

We have one, and i love it, but I also kept my regular coffee pot for when I have a bunch of company.

I don't drink coffee but my husband does and I think that he really likes it.

Don't have one-- hubs doesn't drink coffee and I only drink a cup a week... so I just make instant Korean coffee. LOL. OR a strong cup of drop ca phe sua da!

We got one for Christmas last year and we absolutely love it! It's so quick and convenient and when we have guests, they're always eager to have a warm drink because it's so easy!

I worry about losing out on local/indie coffee blends... I think there's a pod you can fill yourself but then that feels like it goes against the whole easy to use/clean thing of it.
Cuisinart and french press in our house for now, but I've definitely thought about it for convenience sake!

I do, and I use the mesh pod with my ground coffee FAR more often than the prepackaged pods. I love it because I never drink more than one cup per day, and I usually use starbucks bold roasts coffee so it's perfect for me.

We got a really fancy one as part of our wedding registry and I hated it. I could never get it to the right brew strength and it never made a big enough glass for me. I think it's sitting in a closet somewhere now after we went back to traditional coffee maker :\

@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: I echo your experience. Blah. Sitting around unused for months.

@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: @808love: like the other poster said, you should totally call customer service....they will send you a brand new one...even if it's been over a year or more! They have THE BEST customer service...they try to troubleshoot with you over the phone but when it doesn't work, they send out a new one in a few days (you just have to send back a part from your old broken machine). We are on our 3rd one (each model is better)...I was so frustrated when ours stopped working consistently but they have totally won me over with their customer service.

@knittylady: the cuisinart one that uses k cups comes with a cup you can fill yourself, no harder then a reusable filter for a reg machine. It's nice because the k cups create a lot of waste.
