Like a firm voice? Not yelling...
I tried one yesterday and I made my LO cry but she stopped playing with her food so I guess it worked!

I have perfected the mean look, but so far it's only effective on my husband and not my daughter.

Yep. I don't like to yell, so I have a mad voice that works just as good.

I thought I had a mean (but calm) mom voice down but neither of my kids (or husband) are phased by it...I don't think it's actually that mean.

Heck yeah... I only use it for big deal things (DON'T YOU RUN IN THE STREET COME BACK HERE THIS MINUTE, etc)

Yes, but we don't have a baby yet. I use it on the dog when she is not behaving. Its funny how she understands

Yes, and a "look" - it usually works, but sometimes he does exactly what I'm telling him not to do and laughs.

I've got a teacher voice so I figure that will come in handy someday!

I'm like @mrs. 64: I've got a great teacher voice and it works pretty well.

I worked as a nanny for years, and my mom calls it my nanny voice. It works of DH too. Hopefully it works on LO.
