I love our mini fridge! It is so convenient for the middle of the night so I do not have to go up and down the stairs to the kitchen. I keep drinks and my pumped milk right next to the bed.

Our kitchen is on the same floor as the bedrooms so it's not really necessary, but if there were stairs involved, you bet your butt I'd be getting a fridge upstairs.

Nope! But our apartment is tiny so a walk to the fridge is not so hard.

Nope. Is that common? I don't think I know anyone with one in their bedroom!

We only have one floor and the fridge is pretty close to our room!

No... It never crossed my mind. But now that you've suggested it I might have to talk to the Hubster about it! I never pump at night because I'm too lazy to go downstairs and put the milk in the fridge.

yes!! Our mini fridge and chest freezer are right outside our bedroom (in the upstairs hallway).

@mrs. bird: I'm wondering if this is common too!?
We don't have one, I have never met anyone who did have one!

ha, i never thought about this! If we lived upstairs, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

We don't have one. I bet my DH would love it though!

We plan on getting one in our bedroom's sitting room. There's a little nook in the corner that fits a mini-fridge and a cabinet above! It sounds weird at first but the room leads out to a balcony so it would be perfect to grab cold drinks without going all the way downstairs.

Nope, but that's a brilliant idea for when you're pumping!! I'll have to keep this in mind for the future!

Never even thought about it and don't think I know anyone who has one in their bedroom. Generally I only pump in the morning during her first wake up around 5 and just leave it out on my night stand then put it in the fridge when we wake up again around 7 or so. I operate under the rule that it's fine to sit out for a few hours.

@.twist.: @mrs. bird: DH got the idea from his co-worker's wife! Maybe it is just for super lazy people like us.
@MamaMoose: you can leave milk out for a few hours depending on when you pump. But I have already stopped pumping in the middle of the night. Too tired! We'll see what happens when she starts sleeping longer...maybe I will have to pump again...
