Yup, we each have our personal accounts and have a joint. But we use each other's accounts and money - mine is his, his is mine.

We've merged all of our accounts.

Sort of. Technically, we have two accounts: my husband's, where his paycheck gets deposited and all the bills/necessities get paid out of, and mine, where my paycheck gets deposited and we use for "fun" things like going out to eat, vacations, etc. We both have access to each others account, but we never really use the other one.

We each have a personal account and then have a joint account. Our paychecks go into the joint account but we each get a monthly "allowance". This allows us to make purchases for ourselves without feeling guilty about it.

i have accounts that are just under my name. but really, it's joint accounts. we just wanted to put majority of our assets under my name. other than those accounts, we have only joint accounts.

Nope, everything's joint. This was kind of non-negotiable for me as part of a marriage, and it's what hubs wanted too. We do both have credit cards in our own individual names that we pretty much only use when buying surprises for the other one. But all the credit card bills get paid out of the joint checking account.

But of our checking accounts are personal, but we have 3 joint savings accounts - an "everyday" savings, a "no-touch" savings, and a CD. We use our checking accounts to pay our individual bills and do our personal shopping or whatever, and each month I just transfer money to his for our mortgage and utilities.

We both do. We have joint household accounts and separate play money accounts. It works well for us.

All of our accounts are merged, and both our names are on everything except our school loans.
