I always wished for a reclining glider with DD and now I think I'm going to get one for bebe #2. Do you have one that you love?

I fell in love with a reclining glider at BBB recently! We have a little castle chair (non reclining) at work, it's held up fine, but the Irvington swivel gliding recliner from best chairs rocked my world I didn't think the fabric options were all that great, but it was so comfy! Seemed really solid too, although for $650 it should! With a 20% off coupon it's $520. That chair will be in my someday nursery!

Our Dutailier was expensive, but I do really love it. I do NOT love the matching rocking ottoman- wish I'd just gotten a non-gliding stepstool (for much cheaper!).

We bought one similar to this one (same company but different styling-not rounded) and I love it. It's going on 2 years now and it still looks and feels new even though I've literally sat in it every day. Now LO loves to climb on it.

I'm sure there are better chairs out there but for what we paid ($325 with a BRU coupon), it was and still is a great purchase, especially since it matches our other decor around the house.
ETA: totally forgot that we can post pics now. Here it is.

I have a Dutailer one too @Lozza!!! It was a gift from my parents (it was 1000$) we actually got it upholstered in our own fabric (for no extra cost)

@Mrs. Sunglasses: beautiful chair! It totally doesn't look like a glider!

@sorrycharlie: It's actually a glider and recliner. Hence why my husband was sad when we moved it from the living room to the nursery!
(after the floors were painted) ha!

We bought ours from the normal section (living room furniture) of the furniture store and honestly I CAN NOT WAIT to use the heck out of it. I think it'll make long feedings so much more pleasant:)
My wish list was:
-Leather but soft, comfy leather
-reclines (with foot rest)
-glides
I got all 3 in mine! But it was being discontinued so I could only get a beige color which I was kind of sad about because I wanted brown. It ended up being o.k because brown would have darkened our nursery too much.

@Mrs. Sunglasses: no way, that reclines?? That is the prettiest glider ever!!

@Red: oh cool, I was wondering about that one. I love that you've used it for so long so you really have experience with it! Good price, too.

@Mrs. Sunglasses: sooo pretty but I don't think I will shell out $1,000? Drool, though!

@Andrea: Well it's less than 1K, we have 14% takes here. So I'd say it's in the 800$ range. but yes it's pricey! we saw it more of a piece that will go in our living room afterwards.

@Mrs. Sunglasses: I'll check out all the cheaper options first and then we'll see.

@Andrea: I heard the ones at Target or WM were pretty good.

We are getting a reclining glider from La-Z-boy. It is not some huge mini-couch type one. My parents are paying for it otherwise we would not spend $800+ on a chair. I can't wait.

We have this recliner in our nursery. You can order it in a variety of fabrics (some more practical for the realities of baby than others) and contrast piping, if that's your thing.

@Mrs. Sunglasses: I am wondering how you got your chair upholstered in your own fabric? Did you send the fabric to Dutalier? I went to a retail store yesterday and wasn't a fan of their fabric swatches ...

@Andrea: yes they told me I could use my own fabric so I purchased 6 meters and brought it to the store I ordered the hair from. Seeing its a pricey chair they didn't charge me. Only thing it took longer to process seeing it was custom.

@Mrs. Sunglasses: That is so cool. Thanks for the info!!

We just bought the Cole Reclina-Glider from La-Z-Boy. They have a ton of fabric choices and it is SO comfortable! It's on sale right now for $559 I think. We never would've spent that much on a chair, but I promised my husband it would become his "man chair" in the living room after it is no longer needed in the nursery so he was Ok with it http://www.la-z-boy.com/Product/6971-8715/Reclina-Rocker/
