Do you have a special plate for putting cookies out for Santa? Did you have one growing up?

This is actually our first Christmas not traveling since DD was an infant (she's 3.5 years old) and I totally bought that Target Santa plate! I never had one growing up, but I thought it was cute and I want to start fun traditions this year
I'm totally pushing Santa! hahaha I think it is just so magical, and she asks the cutest questions (ie What is a chimney? How does he fly? Why can't he come when I'm awake?)

@smurfette: I think it's magical too! I never grew out of my love for Santa and now that I'm a mom, it's ON!
let me know if you find a cute plate! I can't decide if I want to get one now, or buy one on clearance after the holidays for next year (since LO is so small)

I think we just used a regular plate when I was a kid. Maybe when M gets a little older, we'll make one just for that occasion.

@cmomma17: I probably will look for one on clearance too unless I find one I can't pass up. My Mom fell in love with a Christmas plate, bowl, fork and spoon last year (when I was pregnant) for R to have at her house. I was like Mom, she won't use it for a couple years, she said I don't care I wanted to get it for her.

We didn't have a specified plate when I was little but I got one at PBK this year and hoping to introduce it to M next year when she's 2.
