I have 2 skinny Minnies. Lala is 3 years old and 25 lbs. She is less than 2nd percentile. She is in the 10%ile for height. It's just the way she is. She has gained only 1 lb in a full year.

M is in the 10%ile for weight and the 62%ile for height... so she's tall and skinny.

I know Lala is just destined to be this way. I weighed 30 lbs in 3rd grade. She likely has constitutional growth delay, which is fine.

M. on the other hand, I sometimes wonder if she's so skinny because 1) she's ridiculously active 2) we avoid processed foods the best we can. She's eating something most of the time, so it's not an intake problem.

Mine's a tall skinny Minnie- 96th for height, but always around 50th-60th for weight.

Both my kids are a slim build but my DS in particular. He is 50% height and less than 10% weight at 2yr.. But extremely active and a great eater so I have no worries!

100% for height and 50% for weight at 6 months. She was born 100% and 38% so I think she looks chunky now.

DD was born a little under average, but had really chunked up her first few months. At around 11 months, I was really starting to worry about her since she lost so much weight. But according to the charts, she was still within her normal curve. Now at 14.5 months, she's bulking up again and I'm pretty happy about that. She's a picky eater and I've been worried about starving her.

LO is tall and skinny. He's always tracked lower on the weight side. This morning when I changed him, I could see his ribs a bit, but he eats a ton at daycare and home. He's also got a tummy. He tends to get a tummy and then growth spurt later.

He's always been a shortie, never hitting above the 25th percentile, but his weight has slowly been climbing down the percentile chart. He's 17 months and in the 35th percentile for weight. I think he just looks small all around.

Yes, my daughter is a tiny little thing. I think she may grow up to be a littler taller than me, at least. Maybe 5'3'' if that 'double your height at 2' thing is really true.
