My son is so smiley it's so funny! Since he was like 4.5 months all he does all day is laugh and smile. NOT a serious baby!

T is sooooooo smiley! It's great!
DD wasn't a very happy baby but she is a very happy toddler! Someone just commented on how she's always so happy yesterday.

He is very serious, but does laugh and smile frequently. We joke that he has deep thoughts to shuffle through before smiling or laughing.
The last week though he has started to imitate our laughs, which is hilarious. He also has a new smile with a scrunched up face that is hilarious.

@lemondrop: Willa started to imitate our laughs too! I can't help but laugh.
Generally, she's pretty serious but she will smile and sing to herself.

@BabyBoecksMom: we call it the stoner laugh, he sound like Dazed and Confused. I never thought anything could beat the baby giggle, but the toddler laugh gets us cracking up and he starts laughing even more! No singing yet, we'll have to work on that one.
Guess it is an age thing... I am behind in reading the baby books.

She is pretty serious, you have to earn smiles from her, she doesn't just hand them out willy nilly.

She smiles ALL THE TIME. People comment on it often and the mom's at the storytime and BF support groups we go to can't believe how much she smiles!

My little guy is the happiest baby. I refuse to believe that he will get more serious!! He laughs from the moment he wakes up in the morning- makes it so hard to leave to go to work

DS is still smiley as a young toddler. He goes up to random women and gives them a big flirty grin. The ladies are so charmed, it is actually kind of embarrassing haha. DD was not particularly smiley, though!

Yes, she's a huge smiler. I don't think she has a serious bone in her body.
