I sing "You Are My Sunshine" to LO before every nap/bedtime. Other than that, we always dance to "The Captain" by Ingram Hill. I get sentimental whenever I hear it!
Do you and LO have a song?

Jewel's "You Were Meant for Me." I sang it in the shower connnnstantly when I was pregnant (and thought I sounded awesome, obviously), and once she was born, it's just stuck and is now her lullaby song. DH jokes that her first words will be from that song.
I also still sound awesome. Ha.
Taylor Swifts "Don't Ever Grow Up" or whatever it's called always reminds me of LO, but it makes me cry so I don't listen to it that often.

We sing You Are My Sunshine before bed too.
Elton John's Tiny Dancer reminds me of her, because it was playing the first time I ever felt her kick.

"Hey There, Delilah" played on the radio while I was pregnant and R kicked away inside. It played again a few weeks later and she kicked again. Whenever I hear it I think of my R.

I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons! It was on the radio a lot at the tail end of my pregnancy. I can never hear it without thinking of my LO and remembering being pregnant and waiting to meet him.

Dirt road prayer by Lauren Alaina. When J was a baby, it was my not-so-secret weapon. He could be screaming bloody murder, but would go silent as soon as I turned that song on. Now, I play it for his brother without the same effect.
Godspeed by the Dixie Chicks is another. I've play it and sing it for both of my boys. It's such a sweet song.

We dance to Twist & Shout together all the time!
A song by Andrew McMahon, Catching Cold, was one I listened to a lot at the end of pregnancy so that reminds me of her, too.

Wanted by Hunter Hayes because I used to sing it to her when I swaddled her.
Also, currently, Let Her Go by Passenger makes me think of her. I bawled my eyes out in the car on the way to my first day back to work a few weeks ago when I heard that song. So dramatic, I know.

Danny's Song by Loggins and Messina. I heard it several times while pregnant and I sing it to her now.

This might be weird but mine is - Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble
Since LO was just born we called him "troubles" (like here comes troubles!) and when this song started being popular it would always remind me of him.

So many!
Bush "sound of winter" was stuck in my head when she was born. And Tame Impala "elephant" always makes me think of her because we always wave our hands in front of our faces and sing the first line "you know it feels like an elephant, shaking his big grey trunk for the hell of it". Hahaha

"Ho Hey" by the Lumineers. And I sing "Time after Time" to her often.

Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker. 'Hey, Mama Rock Me' I dance with a kid on each hip whenever it's on.
And James Taylor's You Can Close Your Eyes. I loved when it would come on Pandora in the wee hours of the night when my kiddos were teeny tiny.

1000 years by Christina Perri I think? It comes on my favorite pandora station a lot, and one day I was singing along with it while LO was sitting in her bouncer next to me and I teared up. Now I sing it to her all the time, it even makes DH emotional now, lol!

Lovely by Michelle Tumes. I listened to it all the time while pregnant and had so many hopes and dreams about LO.
Here are part of the lyrics:
You're the sweet dreams that soothe me
When I can't fall asleep
You're the field in the middle of the city
When I'm rushing by at the speed of light
You're the strong resolution when I find no peace
You're the church bells ringing in the evening
When all is quiet
Your whisper comfort, lifts my heart, I get so weak
Ooh, you're lovely, lovely
You're the center of my universe
(My universe)
A thousand times
I look around me and I find
Ooh, you're lovely, lovely
You're the center of my universe
(My universe)
A million ways cannot explain
You're lovely
You're the soft words that touch me
When I just can't speak
You're the breeze on the ocean in the morning
Reminding me to greet the day

Omg I'm such an emotional mess right now and thinking of all of you sweet mamas singing these songs to your babies is making me tear up!!!
I always sang "Killing Me Softly" in the shower while pregnant (and I sounded awesome, too @ms.janedoe: haha) and then it was just the only thing that was consistently in my head at bedtime so it's become his sleep song. I sing it every nap and bedtime and now it quiets him immediately.
I super love "Let Her Go" @Mrs. Taco: and I think it's one of H's favorite songs too

Tonight Tonight - this song played all the time when I was pregnant and commuted an hour to and from work.
The Best Day by Taylor Swift - it was her bedtime song that we played on our phones every night for the first year of her life
We Found Love by Rhianna - she loves to dance to this song. She requests it and says "dancing party!"

Keane - Somewhere Only We Know (the Winnie the Pooh song) it was on all the time during my commute during my first pregnancy. I feel bad because I haven't found a song for #2 yet and he's almost here!

@meganmp: aw my mom says she sang that to me all the time when I was a baby
J was born 8 days before Christmas and I have a good hormonal cry singing along with 'All I want for Christmas is You' on the radio on a daily basis leading up to his birth, lol

Baby girl hasn't been born yet, but "her" song is "Hesitating Beauty" by Wilco and Billy Bragg-- her name rhymes with the name in the song, Noralee, so I just replace her name with it when I sing it to her the lyrics make it sound like it's a love song, but I've read that Woody Guthrie (he wrote he lyrics originally but not the music) actually wrote it for his daughter, so I like to think that it's sort of an aspirational song that someday she grows up to find true love. The chorus is so sweet: "by the stars and clouds above/we can spend our lives in love/you quit your hesitating Noralee" and this is my fave verse: "we can ramble hand in hand across the grasses of our land /I'll kiss you for each leaf on every tree /We can bring our kids to play where the dry leaves blow today/you quit your hesitating, Noralee"

I have a ton of songs that remind me of him, but the one that got me lately took me by surprise: Aerosmith, "I don't want to miss a thing"....I bawled like a baby in the car when it came on after picking him up from daycare.

Locked out of heaven by Bruno Mars - that was the 1st song he started dancing to all on his own.

I think of him when I hear Little Lion Man from Mumford and Sons as I distinctly remember that being played while I was pushing

Happy Together (by The Turtles) . . . I sing it to LO all the time. It's our *jam*!

I sing "Lullaby" by the Dixie Chicks to D at bedtime. And the song "For Once in My Life," by Stevie Wonder - I was trying to find songs for his 1-year video, and came across that one. I immediately started bawling. Now it reminds me of him every single time. We dance around the living room to it.
