We do but it's a very old 20 inch TV, I would not be sad if it died or disappeared Do you have a TV in your room? What size?

Nope. We just have one in the living room and we don't really watch much lately anyway.

No, we just have the one in the living room. Although it would be nice to lie in bed and watch something at night we both prefer not having the distraction there.
papaya / 10343 posts
Yep! We used to never use it but we got one that has netflix on it and now we use it every night. I find it helps us go to bed earlier because we go up before we get tired to "watch tv" then inevitably once we are all snuggled in bed we're out pretty quick.
pear / 1823 posts
We do. We only turn it on while getting ready in the morning. It's kind of a waste.
grapefruit / 4089 posts
Nope. We have had one in the past, but when we moved into this house we didn't bother. I prefer to only have one TV in the house.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
19". I use it maybe once a month if I'm folding laundry and want to listen to the ball game. Or if DH is out of town and I want to watch tv in bed. Or if I'm sick. We never watch it together!
bananas / 9628 posts
Yes, BUT it's not hooked up to watch tv, it's not even plugged in. It's a million years old. We use it to watch movies once in a blue moon or if we're sick. It gets used maybe every couple months.
pear / 1639 posts
Yes...a 32". My husband has fallen asleep to the TV ever since we met and unfortunately, I haven't been able to break the habit! We don't 'watch' much TV but I like to have the news running in the background.

Yes, I think it's 20 inches or so, maybe a little bit bigger. We don't have cable so we don't really watch it much, but I'll watch a DVD on it if I'm not feeling well or I'm going to bed a lot earlier than DH.
coconut / 8430 posts
Yep we love snuggling in bed and watching something before bed to wind down. I am in the minority I think because we have a 46" and I wish it was a little bigger!
grapefruit / 4817 posts
Yes. I think it's like a 32 inch? We watch most of our tv in bed together. Always have.
wonderful pea / 17279 posts
Yes. It's more of a nuisance. When I put it on in the morning it slows me down. When the husband wants it on at night I can't sleep with the light and noise. Thank goodness for my eye mask and the Roku ear plugs.
ETA: it's a 55" flat screen.

We used to have one in the room to help me fall asleep at night. After having kids I'm so exhausted and no longer need the tv. It's no longer in our room, and I don't miss it.
nectarine / 2134 posts
Yes but it's not hooked up to cable so we can only watch movies in there. It's nice if we're home sick and bed to be able to put on a movie, but most of the time we go into the living room if we want to actually watch TV.
blogger / watermelon / 14218 posts
Yes, but we only use it on weekend mornings to let the kids watch TV while we sleep in a little. And if we're sick. But the tablet is serving that purpose now so I'm debating moving it elsewhere
eggplant / 11824 posts
Yes; we never use it anymore. It's 32" I think? It used to be our main tv, before we bought a new/bigger one.
watermelon / 14206 posts
Yeah we have a 42 inch in the bedroom. For a while it was our only tv. DH likes to watch it before bed.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@sunny: No I would love a bigger TV in our room lol! Just need the money to upgrade someday.
pomegranate / 3160 posts
Yeah, but I think the last time it was on was about 5 months ago when I was super pregnant and refused to get out if bed one day! Sigh, I miss that!
grapefruit / 4903 posts
Nope. Every now and then we'll bring the laptop in for a movie night in bed, but we're generally in the no-tv-in-the-bedroom camp.
honeydew / 7283 posts
Nope. We only had one in the living room growing up, so that's what I've been used to. We watch enough TV without having one in our room.
honeydew / 7303 posts
We do! It doesn't have cable but we have a roku. I use it to watch Netflix with my heated bed on!! So cozy!
pomegranate / 3863 posts
Yup, only because I wanted it! I am alone in the morning (well DS is here too) and I like the background noise when I get ready, plus I like watching the news/weather. DH hates watching TV in bed but it was a life saver when I was on bedrest and maternity leave! No clue what size it is....
nectarine / 2994 posts
Yes but only because we got a bigger TV for the family room and needed somewhere to put the 32" so we set it up with a dvd player. Means I can go to bed early after lo is in bed and watch a dvd
grapefruit / 4085 posts
We have a 32" flat screen but it's hidden in an armoire. That was my deal since my husband really wanted a TV in there and I didn't want it to be part of the decor. I have to say, I do enjoy watching movies at night before bed sometimes.

@chopsuey: so u have no tv at all ??
We do. I could take it or leave it but my hubby loves it.
GOLD / cantaloupe / 6703 posts
No tv for us. Growing up, there was a tv in our living room and in my parents' room. DH's family had one in the living room and after high school his sister got one to put in her room.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
Yep! We have a 32". DH can't fall asleep without it on because he has constant ringing in his ears. The sleep timer is my friend!
apricot / 403 posts
Yes. A 55" flat screen. DH loves TV and would have them in every room in the house if I let him.
grapefruit / 4136 posts
We only have one TV in our house and it only gets used maybe 2 or 3 times/week? Downton Abbey on Sunday and then whatever basketball games are on. I can't justify the cost for a 2nd tv when we never use our current TV!
