Which one?
Why do you love it? What don't you like?
Would you buy it again/recommend it?
My parents want to purchase one for DD for her upcoming birthday, and I am not sure where to start!
If I were to purchase one I have it in my head I would like air-filled rubber wheels and a canopy of some sort, but beyond that not sure on specifics!
Any tips or suggestions would be welcomed!

We have the Radio Flyer Pathfinder wagon. There's no canopy on ours but there is a version that comes with or you can purchase separately as an accessory.
I like that it's a roomy two seater and there's a drink holder. It seems rugged enough for terrain and there are seat belts. However, LO was able to pull the belt off! Gotta call Rf about that.
I found it cheapest from Target. It was a gift from my mom for her birthday.

No, because we don't have a house so we would have no where to store it. I wish we did. Would sure make trick or treating and pumpkin picking easier!

@bpcmarj: We have lots of storage space available, thankfully! I was thinking parades and such too, it would be nice to have! We walk a lot and have a park across the soccer field in our backyard and it would be great to have for that!
@locavore_mama: I have my old, old radio flyer (basically a wooden table top on wheels, lol) but that won't fly for a few years yet! We definitely need seats!

@Beebug: Ooh, I love wagons! I have actually been keeping my eyes on them, even though it will be a bit before we can use them. But my question about seats is this: I know as kids, we used to sleep in the wagon a lot when we were out. So wouldn't seats be counterproductive to this? Or am I missing an advantage to having seats?

We have the old school metal Radio Flyer. My aunt bought it for DS's first birthday. We took it camping with us and was great to wheel him around the campsite. Not having seats wasn't an issue, we taught DS how to hold on. He pushes it around the yard, climbs in and out of it pretty easily. And we used it as a makeshift water table when it was really hot out!

@LovelyPlum: Hm. I guess I don't see a scenario where we will be out with it long enough where she will fall asleep in it? We use it to go up to the park just a few blocks away. Will be using it for u pick and trick or treating this year.

@LovelyPlum: I guess we could use our old one when we don't want seats? I played with that thing SO much as a kid, remember my childhood bff and I would push each other in it dangerously fast and the other would sit in it and "steer", ha!!
I know daycare has a wagon with the individual pods for each kid to sit in (like this: http://www.step2.com/p/Tag-Along-Trailer-Plus) and DD falls asleep sitting in it coming from the park (not far). I don't even want to really know how she does it or what position her neck is in, but I try not to think about it, LOL.
@KT326: Awesome about the water table idea, multi purpose!
@locavore_mama: Do you have hard rubber (or plastic) wheels or air filled? I feel like the hard ones would be quite the ride at upick or and off road terrain, which isn't uncommon for us, lol.

@locavore_mama: At the park and for trick-or-treating, I can see your point. We used to take it on picnics, and it was the go-to nap place, since my mom always put an old quilt on the bottom. My dad also used to take us star gazing at night, and we would fall asleep in it sometimes. (but we were a little older, maybe 3 and 4?) Also, fireworks for the 4th of July. But either way, wagons are fun!

We have the Pathfinder also- my son loves it. We have a lot of room in our garage so storage has not really been an issue for us but the wagon itself isn't really that heavy. You could definitely lift it up onto a shelf by yourself.

We have a foldable wagon from Costco. It's awesome for picnics and park play dates to haul toys, small cooler, blankets and the kids. I love that it's foldable and fits in my trunk

I have been thinking about getting the radio flyer wagon with canopy and padded seats.. I saw a bunch of people at the zoo this weekend with this. We were pushing two kids in two strollers and thinking maybe it would be nice to only have to pull one thing. It would be heavy, though with 2 kids I'm thinking!

It has foldable seats, a canopy, a "trunk" for extra carrying space, and a million cup holders. Although it does have hard plastic wheels, we've had no issues taking it "off road" on well maintained trails and on the beach. I love it, and I would totally recommend it!

@T-Mom: haha my 9 year old niece was sitting in it with LO and my 2 nephews pulled the wagon. Hahah they're 9 & 6.

I have two wagons. I have a little tikes one with folding seats and I have a collapse able one that I bought at Sam's Club. I love the one from Sam's, it is so easy to transport.

We have this one and it is super heavy. I like it, but I wish it were lighter! I can't imagine pulling it for a long period of time with a kid in it. I think going with the regular tires would make it a lot less bulky.
