Outside of professional dress, of course? My DH works for a top financial firm in our area and they have a strict uniform. They are all required to wear blue dress pants, a white dress shirt, a red tie, and black shoes/belt. In the summer they get to switch to khakis and brown shoes/belt. Women who work at the office also have a uniform - a blue pencil skirt, white shirt, and a blue suit jacket.
It looks pretty bad as uniforms go, but the CEO and owner of the company thinks it looks sharp and that their clients like it so it stays.
I just wondered if any one else has such a rigid uniform? This is the first time I've ever heard of a professional firm requiring such a thing!!
