A neighbor's dog starts barking around 10pm...maybe when they put him outside for the night? It drives me crazy....

I don't get it. When we moved to Ontario, it seemed like we also moved into the most dog-centric neighbourhood.
Another neighbour finally talked to one of the offenders, but there is another with a few small yapping dogs...AHHH!

Our next door neighbors dog barks at everything. They're right outside our bedroom window and it's kind of annoying at 6am!

Not on my block; I do hear some in the distance once in a while. My dog is small and doesn't bark much! There is a house on our walks that has 3+ dogs and every time we walk by, they go nuts barking and jumping!

tons of dogs in our building, but I've never heard any barking! I would go loco.

YES. The house across the street. They have a golden retriever who just lives day/night in their front yard. I have never seen them walk him ever, let alone interact with him or bring him inside. I start to get angry when I hear him barking all the time, then I remember that it's not his fault. A dog is not a yard gnome. Really irritating! And sad that so many people are bad pet owners.

My dog is the barker o.O BUT I don't think others can hear her when she's inside...and if she's outside and starts doing it we bring her in ASAP.

yup, there's a dog in one of the units that barks all day. And we're not allowed pets. And the pet owners are on the board.

My dog is a barker but its only started recently - I think its old age related (eyesight) because I can never find any cause for it) I usually bang on the window if I am home and she will come inside.

My dog is a barker, but as he is a chihuahua I can't even hear him if we are not on the same floor in the house. Next doors giant dog barks every time someone walks past the house and you can hear her through the brick walls. Drives me mad.

My dog only barks at possible intruders (and the ups guy). But there's a dog diagonal to our backyard who barks all night and day. But he's far enough away that we don't care.

The lady downstairs has two hyper-barking dachshunds. They irritate the poop out of me.

None of the dogs are individual barkers - but our dog, the dog behind us, and the 2 dogs next to us - if one gets going, they're all going.
And my dog wasn't a barker before we moved in!

Thankfully I don't have any neighbors so I don't have this issue any more but we lived in an apartment before moving here and the people above us had 2 dogs and they were always barking! They would lock the puppy in the bathroom in the morning when she left for work and it would bark and howl starting at 5:30am and would continue a day. Then they tied them up at the bottom of the stairs and they would bark outside of my kids bedroom window all day... it made nap time heck for a while.

Our dog goes outside and barks maybe once a night, between 7-9:30 p.m. I rush out and get her immediately. I'm always worried we will upset the neighbors. She doesn't bark inside at all.

Other than mine? lol. He doesn't bark outside though, only inside. My neighbor across the street has 2 dogs that bark whenever you're on the front lawn, but you can't hear them from inside our house.

Yes. My neighbors all have dogs that just run wild over the neighborhood. There's always some barking going on. Right now the windows are open and it's upsetting my dog so I'm having to keep him calm before he barks and wakes up the sleeping baby!
Can't wait to move out of this neighborhood.

My neighbor upstairs from me. The dog barks at all different hours. Worst dog ever.

My dogs hardly ever bark. One dog only barks when someone comes to the door. The other dog barks when we lock him out of the kitchen while we are cooking dinner. Other than that, they never bark.
My neighbor's dog barks a lot when he is outside. If our dogs are out when their dog is out, I have to get my dogs back inside. That neighbor even visited us when we first moved in to introduce himself (which was really nice), but his dog still continues to bark. The dog is just territorial, I guess. Sometimes the owner try to get the dog inside.
If another neighbor has a dog out, that same dog will bark and bark and bark. It was getting annoying this past weekend.
ETA: I do feel bad because I'm I try to limit my dog's barking. Imagine if someone told me to shut up every time I opened up my mouth.

Thankfully we don't have any anywhere close to us - SO thankful! We have 3+ houses for sale right around us though, so that could all change!

Yes. Its rude and I hate it.
Except for the sweet Rottweiler who barks just a few times when someone comes into the neighborhood. Love him.
